We’re disappointed by your 1-star rating, particularly as we responded promptly to your email, offered a free site survey, and spent time discussing the issue and offering free advice in good faith over multiple phone calls.

We’re sorry you feel this way, but it’s important to clarify what actually happened. You contacted us regarding an issue caused by poor bath installation by another contractor. Our engineer responded quickly, offered free advice over multiple calls, and reviewed your videos and photos.

The fault was due to poor prior installation, and the correct solution required full access behind the bath. You requested that we pull the bath forward and leave it in that state, with you or others making good afterwards. We politely explained we cannot carry out partial or non-compliant work that would leave the installation unfinished or unsafe. We always complete jobs correctly or not at all, this is how we maintain standards.

You were advised respectfully that we could not take the job on under those conditions. After explaining this clearly, we suggested you contact an alternative contractor who may be willing accede to your preferred, perhaps unorthodox method of plumbing repairs. Your review does not reflect this and is potentially misleading. If you’re willing to amend or remove it, we’d be grateful (considering that at no point were you charged, and we gave you a fair, professional explanation and free advice).
