Good rooms but would avoid due to two issues: 1. Even though they advertise as service apartments they don't provide service unless you pay extra, which we're only told after check in. 2. They took payments a month before check in date even though it says pay on check in. When we asked about this the owner was very rude. These encounters unfortunately tainted the experience of our stay.

For the benefit of other readers we dispute all of the items you mention, and why you would say this after a) 4 months and b) referring your friends to stay with us beats me!
In any case, reasonable people will note all of our reviews on TripAdvisor, Booking.com, Hotels.com and indeed Google and note that the vast majority of reviews are very positive.

Location is in the middle of nowhere. There are no restaurants close by.

Thank you for your comments. I guess it depends on your purpose of staying; however in terms of location, we are a 10 min drive to major motorways and train stations; and within walking distance (5 mins) to local pubs.
In terms of restaurants, there is an excellent Indian restaurant 5 minutes walk away, a fish and chip shop the same distance, which also delivers; and Maidstone town centre has an excellent selection of very good restaurants. We mention these in our blog.
For those not wishing to eat out, there are also ample food delivery options.
For families with children, there are at least 3 playgrounds within walking distance; and finally of course, St Andrew’s Apartments is set in beautiful ‘parkland in the city’ which all apartments, including the premium apartments with balcony have an immediate view of.

Comfortable, serene and convenient.
☺ The property was well equipped and had all the necessary items for making meals. There was a good supply of tea, coffee and sugar. The view and quietness was just what I needed and appreciated.
