We booked last September and paid in full for 4 nights for my sons wedding April 2026 They have just completely cancelled our booking Have had our money for 7 months and now we have to find accommodation with less than a month to go I WILL NEVER USE AGAIN

Unfortunately this occurred due to an IT issue affecting the reservation system that was completely outside of our control, which meant we were unable to honour the reservation. As I explained to you on the telephone, as soon as we became aware of the issue affecting your booking we contacted you immediately to inform you.For clarity, the payment for the booking was made through the online travel agency at the time of reservation. Those funds are held by the agency rather than by us, and the refund is processed through them.We understand this situation has been frustrating, particularly with your son’s wedding approaching, and that emotions may understandably be heightened given the importance of the event. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.However, as you — and other readers considering making a reservation — can see from the many hundreds of very positive reviews we have received on this and numerous other platforms, situations like this are extremely rare and certainly not our usual business practice.We wish you and your family a wonderful wedding celebration.Kind RegardsSt Andrews Apartments
