I have stayed at St Andrews several times in the past 2-3 years, with at least one stay in each apartment. I have enjoyed staying here and the amenities are great. The location is also great. The tesco is close by and convenient to get to. The hospital is also walking distance, which is what i was looking for when booking this apartment. The communication was always great, any questions i had were answered promptly.

Bright and Enjoyable Visit
We chose St Andrews apartments for its location and it did not disappoint! We have booked for many stays and the cleanliness and facilities available have always been of great standard. A couple of the beds were a bit springy, but it didn’t take away too much from the overall experience. The surrounding grounds were also very accessible and great for walking around. We thoroughly enjoyed every stay here and hope to visit again! Taqiya

We booked last September and paid in full for 4 nights for my sons wedding April 2026 They have just completely cancelled our booking Have had our money for 7 months and now we have to find accommodation with less than a month to go I WILL NEVER USE AGAIN

Unfortunately this occurred due to an IT issue affecting the reservation system that was completely outside of our control, which meant we were unable to honour the reservation. As I explained to you on the telephone, as soon as we became aware of the issue affecting your booking we contacted you immediately to inform you.For clarity, the payment for the booking was made through the online travel agency at the time of reservation. Those funds are held by the agency rather than by us, and the refund is processed through them.We understand this situation has been frustrating, particularly with your son’s wedding approaching, and that emotions may understandably be heightened given the importance of the event. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.However, as you — and other readers considering making a reservation — can see from the many hundreds of very positive reviews we have received on this and numerous other platforms, situations like this are extremely rare and certainly not our usual business practice.We wish you and your family a wonderful wedding celebration.Kind RegardsSt Andrews Apartments

Warm, Welcoming and Wonderful!
We stayed at this apartment during our immigration journey from South Africa to the UK, and it truly felt like a home away from home during a very big life transition. The apartment was warm, welcoming, and exceptionally well-equipped — everything you could need for a comfortable self-catering stay was thoughtfully provided. It was clean, cosy, and made settling into a new country feel far less overwhelming. Rob was absolutely wonderful — incredibly kind, approachable, and always willing to assist with anything we needed. His support and attentiveness made a huge difference to our stay and gave us real peace of mind. We can highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-run place to stay, especially if you value genuine hospitality and care. We’re very grateful for such a positive experience.
Good rooms but would avoid due to two issues: 1. Even though they advertise as service apartments they don't provide service unless you pay extra, which we're only told after check in. 2. They took payments a month before check in date even though it says pay on check in. When we asked about this the owner was very rude. These encounters unfortunately tainted the experience of our stay.

In any case, reasonable people will note all of our reviews on TripAdvisor, Booking.com, Hotels.com and indeed Google and note that the vast majority of reviews are very positive.
