We strive to provide every patient with compassionate, respectful care while also creating a safe and respectful workplace for our team. To provide accurate billing, we routinely verify insurance information, even when a card has been presented previously, as insurance plans and member IDs can change.

We also wanted to clarify one point in your review. The three team members you interacted with that day have a combined 18 years of service with our practice, with tenures of 2, 4, and 12 years. In addition, two members of our leadership team, with 10 and 12 years of service, personally observed the interaction and confirmed that our team remained respectful, professional, and focused on helping you throughout your visit.

Our decision to dismiss you as a patient was not based on a disagreement over an insurance card. It was based on behavior during your visit that included throwing an occluder at a member of our clinical team and making inappropriate and disrespectful comments toward female members of our staff. We have a responsibility to provide a safe, respectful workplace for our employees.

We care for our patients, but we also protect our staff. For that reason, we determined that our practice was no longer the right fit for your care. We sincerely wish you the very best moving forward.
