Group visit with friends We experienced the distillery tour given by James who was an excellent guide He was very knowledgable and answered all our questions fully We learned a lot about the processes and many varied types of whisky made by the distillery and to finish it all off we had a very enjoyable afternoon tea with the lovely staff who couldn't do enough to help usWill thoroughly recommend this venue - come and enjoy

Delicious afternoon tea! Visited the pot still coffee shop for my partner's birthday , we pre booked an afternoon tea which I have to say was the best I've ever had, the food was sublime, I am vegetarian and had the most delicious coronation chickpea sandwich, cheese and pickle and a very tasty cheese and tomato quiche, plus lots of mini cakes which we could not finish! Highly recomend!

Filey Bay Flagship has evolved into a great tasting whisky, perfect as an every day drinking dram. This is very different from the early releases of Flagship, i came back to it after a recent tasting & was surprised how good it is now. Rich creamy texture, subtle vanilla & fruity taste, perfectly balanced.

I ordered some Filey Bay whisky as a birthday gift for my son in law. I was impressed with the great service from the start. The whisky was dispatched immediately with excellent communication from the company regarding delivery. When there was an problem gaining access to our property, someone from Spirit Of Yorkshire immediately phoned me and resolved the issue, liaising with the delivery company to give further instructions. Not only is the whisky excellent, but also the best customer service I have experienced for a while. I will definitely be ordering from this company again.

Brilliant experience....a must visit if you are in East Yorkshire From arrival to leaving the staff were so welcoming. We took the tour and, what a fabulous experience. Amy was our tour guide and she was so knowledgeable and a great personality which really added to the experience. The tastings were very generous, 3 per person and, drivers got to take home the 3 samples plus a nosing glass which was amazing. Well done to all the staff at SOY and thank you to the management team for allowing your staff the freedom to give the best experience to your visitors. Excellent visit...you deserve to suceed in all you do.

First time visiting the distillery. What an experience from first entering the shop to the distillery tour with our guide Justyna to a lovely meal afterwards in the cafe. The tour itself was informative and Justyna was a great guide, very personable, knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We enjoyed the tasting session and came home with a bottle of their whiskey. The cafe food was gorgeous and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The ethos of both companies is to be admired, sustainability and locally sourced food. A great friendly atmosphere. We look forward to any upcoming events.

Went on the distillery tour with my parents and girlfriend at the weekend. It was a great experience. Justyna was an amazing guide - fun, knowledgeable and taught me how to drink whiskey properly! I really enjoyed the ethos of the company. Sustainable approach to farming and the whole process, from the field to the still to the cask to the bottle. Community seems very important to the distillery as the food in the cafe was locally sourced. Cafe staff were great - really friendly and the cakes were amazing. The whole place had a very welcoming feel to it and I will definitely recommend the tour to friends.

We are looking for a new distributor in France at the moment, as our previous one has decided to concentrate on large multinational companies and not small, independent distilleries, so we won't be at Paris Live this year

I bought 2 bottles of the whisky at The Cannon Hall Farm.The man we dealt with was really nice and insisted we have a free distillery tour . My husband was delighted as he likes a good whiskey. Needless to say we never got the distillery tour and nobody answered our calls or emails . I really cannot stand people that lie to get you to buy from them On getting home and trying the whiskey, my husband was very disappointed tasted more like a cheap blended whisky. Very disappointed as each bottle cost £100
