Chris is very professional, knowledgable and friendly. He patiently listened to me when I was explaining what was wrong with my car and he fixed it. On top of that, he identified some other issues that I was not aware of and let me know about the priority of repairing those parts. After all the repairs were done, my car was running much more smoothly than before. I really appreciate the effort he put in to identify and fix the problems my car had.

A long overdue review. I've been bringing my S2000 to Chris since the Stage days at both Kirkland then Bellevue; I'm so glad that Chris & Co. are back up and running. Chris and Jay have worked on my S2000 numerous times, and quite frankly, they're the only ones I trust to do so. They are both extremely knowledgeable. If you're looking for an honest mechanic that does good work and takes pride in what they do, look no further - especially for your S2000.

Great honest shop owned by enthusiasts, always lots of interesting cars in the shop. Currently there are 2 Honda S2000s, a Skyline, 2 generations of MR2s. And a colorful minivan. Chris has been working on my car since he was at stage and I drive all the way from Bellevue to Lynnwood, which isn't the most convenient especially if it's a big project and I have to Uber home, but it's worth it. I'm glad I have someone I can trust to bring my S2000 to. I'm very particular and like to do the work myself, but this is where I bring it for big projects or when I don't have time. I'd also feel comfortable sending a female friend here and know she won't be ripped off. Highly recommend for Japanese cars and if you want an honest enthusiast keeping you on the road or doing mods. I wouldn't hesitate to bring them a domestic car either.

Chris and Jay have taken great care of my S2000 since their days at Stage Auto Center. I was very excited when I found out they struck out on their own and opened up Spec2 in Lynnwood. I doubt you'll find a better shop in the state. Believe me, I've tried! These guys know the S2000 platform extremely well, which is handy as these cars have very specific needs. Whether you're replacing worn parts or installing enthusiast goodies, the team makes it happen and gets it right the first time. Recommended for anyone looking for quality work, whether it's a Honda or really any vehicle they work on.

There is no one I trust more than Chris & Jay with my car(s). They’re literally stellar is every aspect: Chris & Jay have a wealth and abundance of automotive knowledge, anything from a fully modified race/track built vehicles to general servicing for non modified vehicle. Chris is like an automotive encyclopedia! Additionally Chris’ customer service and professionalism is top notch! The loyalty of his customer base says it all. On top of that their prices are so reasonable comparative to everything else in the greater Seattle area. Can’t recommend them enough! Never wrote a google review before, and I just think I have to do it. Long story short, The owner, Chris, was super professional and found the problem with my car. Solve my problem and only charged me $20 for material, and Im pretty sure I'd be charge a lot more if I go to other shops just for diagnosis. I am pretty sure he had an opportunity to charge me way more because I didn't know anything about cars, but he didn't. In fact, he even teach me what to check & what to do if similar issue happens again to my car. Super happy that I finally found my go-to guy, and I think Ill always go back to Chris as long as I still live in the area.

The team is incredibly knowledgeable, transparent, and honest about what needs to be done.
