Such a great experience with Jonathan at SoVane! I needed an updated headshot for my LinkedIn and Slack, and Jonathan absolutely nailed it. The photos were exactly what I was looking for, and he made sure to take plenty of shots so I could choose the one I loved most. He also gave really helpful posing guidance throughout, which made the whole process easy and comfortable. I was a little nervous to come in and have professional photos taken but he made me feel very at-ease. Meeting Remy was a plus! I’m extremely happy with the results and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for professional headshots.

I had an incredible experience working with SoVane Photography! From the moment I walked into the studio in LIC (which is in such an unbeatable location, by the way), I felt completely at ease.
Jonathan takes the time to really help you identify and lock in your brand, which is so important but can be often overlooked. He doesn’t just snap a few photos and call it a day, he works with you to understand the vibe and product you want to project and then builds the session around that. As an actor himself, he brings a deep understanding of the industry and uses that insight to guide you through the shoot with techniques that actually work and aid in reflecting the most genuine version of you.
Side note, his eye for color matching is spot on! The tones, lighting, and overall aesthetic of the final shots were fantastic. Although he was very communicative in asking my opinions, I was always more than happy with what he chose throughout the shoot.
