Working with the Southern Ornamental team was an excellent choice. First project was to install a fence – which was quick, efficient and timely. The added value of having Southern’s office handled all permits with the city, charging only the actual cost of permits. The installation was flawless and all waste was removed. We watched a neighbor have a terrible time with their contractor, which also left a multitude of debris. From Quoting through final inspection, the project ran so smoothly we returned to Southern to install an attached pergola. Again, everything ran like clockwork, post permits and excluding city inspections cycle, the pergola was completed in 3 days of work. Very pleased to have selected Southern and would use them again if required a service they provide!

A well-deserved glowing recommendation for Southern Ornamentals & Fence. When we purchased a new home in Boca Raton we needed to act quickly to get a fence for our two dogs. John LoCastro, the owner, personally showed up the next day and made several helpful suggestions. We received his estimate on the spot. Devin, in the office, made the permitting process very easy. They dealt with the HOA and the County which was one less thing for us to do. The installation only took one day. The crew was friendly, conscientious, and cleaned up after themselves and the fence looks great. It doesn’t end there. Three months later we decided to have a pergola installed. We met with three different companies and couldn’t decide. Then we remembered that Southern also did pergolas. Again, John came out the next day. He talked us out some of the expensive features that the other companies were pushing (mainly the louvers). Again, Devin handled ALL the paperwork and permits and inspections. We are thrilled with results. Since then, we have watched as they did work for three of our friends in Boca and our nephew in Parkland. The owner oversees all jobs, great installation teams, and a friendly, easy to deal with office. The prices were very competitive, and the results are amazing.
