Had a zoom appointment with Adam this morning with my 4 year old Black Lab Monty ( high prey drive, reactive to some dogs and all cats). Adam was very knowledgeable and clear with his guidance. He gave me some very simple techniques to trial ……. only 2 walks in, so very early days but all I can say is wow just wow. Simple ‘pop’ on his headcollar (halti) at the first sign of loading which I had been reluctant to do as it was a headcollar and not a slip lead, plus the importance of walk ‘breaks’ to sniff/wee and not letting him ‘mark’ after seeing any dog or cat on the walk has made such a positive difference so far. I appreciate there is still a lot of hard work ahead for me with Monty but these simple tools have been so effective so far. Thank you so much Adam 😊

My experience with Southend Dog Training is through their videos and Adams book. I find the videos great because Adam doesn't just tell you how to do things to help your dog he shows you exactly what to do and explains things in a really easy to understand manner. He has helped me more than anyone else including a trainer and behaviourist who were not cheap. His book is amazing with lots to help anyone who wants to make their dogs life and own life better. If I lived closer I would definitely go to Adam for training tips.

Southend dog training videos have been such a help with not only our dog but friends’ dogs too. This really is someone who totally understands dogs inside out and who offers straightforward training techniques and suggestions, he makes it seem so obvious what you need to do which of course makes it easier for the dog and owner to understand. Jag tittar på alla videoklipp som visas på Facebook och han är väldigt bra tränare ger många bra tips. I watch all the videos shown on Facebook and he is a very good trainer and gives a lot of good tips. (I live in Sweden with my pack of really big dogs. I would love a session but that's not possible.)

I have followed Adam’s training methods both in his book and online videos and found it has really helped my puppy grow up in to a well behaved young man. His loose lead walking in particular following Adam’s lead has come on in leaps and bounds . The Training that in my experience that really works and results in a happy confident secure obedient canine friend.

I had to call upon Southend after getting a spaniel pup thinking I had a lovable bundle of fluff and was met with a land shark that had me in tears most days. I followed their puppy training to the letter and reached out for some additional advice and i now have the best dog in the world still with all the fabulous spaniel traits and without the bad ones (resource guarding etc). I fully recommend.

I used your 'how to raise the perfect dog' audiobook. I previously had a chocolate labradoor for 13 years and let's just say.. I wish I discovered your book back then. 🤣 Before collecting my new pup i decided to try your book. It was fantastic, so easy to understand and honest. Fast forward and my 5 month old pup is amazingly behaved and so well trained ! Im sure we will hit bumps along the road, but your book has given us an amazing start! Thats all thanks to your book. Bought the books, a mine of information and the only books I refer to when training my 2 dogs. Food is fab. I use both. Raw for meals and cold pressed for treats. Both dogs very happy and healthy 🤎❤️
