We just hired the Ford F60. Was our first experience hiring and using a motorhome and we loved every minute. The vehicle is lovely to drive and very comfortable and spacious. Hired the Elddis Autoquest 165 for the Goodwood Revival and we had a brilliant time, as first timers too. Pickup and dropoff was so easy. Campervan Review We hired this campervan for five days for Boomtown Festival and honestly couldn’t have been happier with it! 🚌✨ It was the perfect size for our party and had all the amenities we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Having our own little home away from home made the whole festival experience so much easier, especially after long days and nights at Boomtown! The campervan was comfortable, practical and had everything we needed. It was exactly what we were looking for and worked brilliantly for the four of us. We’d definitely hire again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a campervan for a festival or getaway. Thank you so much for making our Boomtown experience even better! ❤️

We hired the Ducato from these guys to go stay at a horse camp at tweezledown race track for the weekend , the van was given to us with a full tank of fuel which was helpful and easy and comfortable to drive ,really well presented and modern.kane was very helpful throughout are time having the camper , anything we wasn’t sure on how to use he was always on the end of the phone to help out , they dropped the van to us aswell which was really helpful , I will defintley be using these guys again when we need a camper 👍🏼

I hired the superb Ford Autotrail F-line F60 motorhome back in July 2025. It was my first time driving such a large vehicle so I was a little nervous, but Kane went through it all with me very patiently! Very modern motorhome, separate shower cubicle, lovely to drive, comfortable bed. Excellent communication from the owner throughout; I had numerous questions, all of which were answered to swiftly. Highly recommend, and I've booked it again for July 2027 (dates to be confirmed for British GP)!

"Review of South Coast Camper Van Hire (January 2026) I am providing this review to outline my recent experience with a motorhome rental from South Coast Motorhomes. The rental period began in early January 2026, and I chose this company because of their proximity to the Red Funnel ferry terminal, which was convenient given that I reside on the Isle of Wight. Initially, I requested that the company collect me directly from the ferry terminal to avoid arranging a taxi. They agreed, which seemed like a positive start. However, I was surprised to be collected directly in the motorhome itself rather than a separate vehicle, and the exterior was visibly unclean from the start. Upon handover, it quickly became apparent that the interior cleanliness was also severely lacking. The oven still contained leftover food from a previous user, which the delivery driver attempted to clean with a dustpan and brush that were themselves not sanitary. As someone with coeliac disease, this level of food contamination is especially concerning and unacceptable. Throughout the rental period, I encountered numerous further issues. The fridge still contained leftover food and there was a broken egg in the freezer. The shower tray was cracked and had hair coming up through the drain. The floor was constantly wet due to a leaking tap. The bedding and bed linens were stained, and the entire motorhome had a strong stale smell that made much of the space unpleasant to use. Operationally, the vehicle also appeared poorly maintained. The gas supply ran out almost immediately, forcing me to make a lengthy detour to refill it at my own expense. The rear lights were not working, which resulted in me being stopped by the police. In addition, the leaking water fixtures caused cushions to become soaked. When I raised these concerns with the company, I was initially told that there had been a mix-up and that I had been given a motorhome that had not been cleaned after the previous rental. At that stage, the company acknowledged the issue and indicated that I would be reimbursed for cleaning products and other inconvenience. However, the response later changed completely. The company subsequently claimed that I had not reported any issues during the hire period and no compensation or meaningful apology was offered. In summary, my experience with South Coast Motorhomes was extremely disappointing. The vehicle was not presented in a rentable condition and the company’s handling of the situation afterwards demonstrated a lack of accountability. I would strongly advise any potential customers to thoroughly inspect a vehicle before accepting it and to consider alternative rental companies. I will not be using South Coast Camper Vans again."

Really happy with this company and Kane who was our primary point of contact. They were the best value of any company I contacted in the south and very relaxed and helpful. Deposit was returned in 1 day which was much quicker than expected. I really like that they offer different bands of motorhome as well. Will definitely use again!

We had a great experience hiring the F60 motorhome for 8 days. We used it for a trip around Scotland to celebrate my partner’s birthday and it made the whole trip really special. As it was my first time using a camper van, I really appreciated how helpful and supportive they were throughout they explained everything clearly and were available if needed during the trip. The only small issue we had was a minor leak on the sink tap, which was easily fixed in 2 minutes with a quick stop at Screwfix, so it didn’t affect our trip at all. Overall, the F60 was comfortable, practical, and a great way to travel. We really enjoyed the experience and would definitely do it again. Highly recommended.

Scotland trip 2026 We had a great experience hiring the F60 motorhome for 8 days. Hired the 6-birth Etrusco camper. Great experience all round from easy booking, warm welcome on day of hire and good run through of how everything works. Super comfy beds, easy to use control panel for water, TV, heating and electrics, fantastic shower and really easy to drive. Hired for 4 days for a trip to the Lake District and beyond! 10/10 Highly recommend!
