I live in Portchester and ordered a load of Ash on Wednesday and they delivered today. Very easy to order. Small vehicle with crane on back which made it easier to drop the bag at the top of the drive. No fuss or bother. Very pleasant driver who clearly enjoys his job. He explained that the wood is cut into lengths that stack easily into log stores with no problems with toppling. The lady in the office was helpful and tried to fit in with my arrangements. This was my first time of ordering and it certainly won’t be the last! Lovely company to deal with.

Had our logs delivered at beginning of October fast delivery by Charlie who put them exactly where we wanted them on our drive. We’ve just started using the kiln dried Ash gives lovely heat and great size logs. Highly recommend. Thank you Charlie see you for our next order….

Faultless goods and service Outstanding log supplier, very friendly and reliable. They provide various types of top quality and nice sized hardwood that is kiln dried not just 'seasoned'. A couple of years ago we used 'seasoned' wood provided by a good friend in our new Charlton and Jenrick log burner and almost ruined it..... there was just too much moisture still in the wood and the moving parts on the baffle had rusted solid. After a bit of a bun fight with C&J they replaced the parts free of charge as a goodwill gesture. Lesson learned, we now only use certified kiln dried wood from Southampton Logs and have not had a problem since. Highly recommended.

Bought some of their new briquettes and they are brilliant for lighting smokeless coal, even when it is damp. They also give off a lot of heat, will definitely be buying some more.
