This is a long overdue review from our Healdsburg wedding (August 2024), but our DJ, Ian, along with his live drummer and saxophonist, were absolutely all-time! The communication during the planning process was seamless, and they completely killed it on the day, creating the most incredible energy. We had so many guests compliment us on how fun the dance floor was, and it was all thanks to them!

cannot recommend sounds elevated enough!! from our first interview with them to the big day, they were always so professional, helpful, and kind. they always offered their expert opinions when we needed them, but never tried to pressure us into a higher cost package. my fiancé and i were most nervous about the music bc the thing we really cared most about was a bumping dance floor so it was scary to hire someone we’d never heard play live but oh my god Disco E (along with the live drummer + saxophonist) brought the damn house down!!! every song was a banger and our guests had SO much fun — so much so that when Disco E finally had to end the set due to our local noise curfew, everyone kept chanting “one more song! one more song!” lolol. also if you’re on the fence about getting the premium lighting package, i would say i’m really happy we ending up adding that on — our wedding was at a campground and i was so pleasantly surprised with how their lighting really transformed the space!! it was awesome.

Zeb & the entire Sounds Elevated team were INCREDIBLE!! Couldn't recommend more highly. They were so easy to work with throughout the entire process and absolutely crushed the actual music at our wedding. Not only that, Zeb was very flexible on wedding day, and stayed an extra 2 hours because people wouldn't leave the dance floor!! We did DJ Fusion for our reception and a silent disco afterparty, for around 190 people. All events were outside, and it sounded great. The team was well prepared and kept the dance floor packed the whole night. They also handled all mics & acoustics at the ceremony and during dinner & reception, so that we didn't need to think about it at all. That ended up being invaluable. They are genuine experts. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a unique, fun, and memorable music at their wedding!! Sounds Elevated are your people.

For starters, he brings a great blend of laid-back willingness to meet any idea or request, with a sharp music acumen and event expertise. Playing a particular remix of a song we like. Nailing down particular subgenres during each stage of the night. Attentive to our song dislikes and "no plays".
