Winona is THE SoHo gem. I stumbled into this store by accident after having a few bad experiences with other jewelers - I didn’t have an appointment and Winona made time for me anyway. She is so warm and genuine and knowledgeable about what she does. She immediately started reaching out to her sources to find me the diamond I’ve been looking for and it was spot on. The prices were also surprisingly the most fair of anywhere else I looked. I was expecting for a jewelry shop in SoHo to be much more expensive. We got engaged in June and I still can’t stop staring at my beautiful ring. The setting is also exactly as I designed it, simple and elegant. Thank you forever to Winona and everyone at SoHo Gem ❤️
We had a great experience working with Marina for an engagement ring. She only made recommendations based on what we were looking for, and not what could be pricier. The turnaround time was fast, and she was incredibly responsive throughout the whole process. I highly recommend working with her!
Some of the rudest people I have ever encountered work in this store, and they do not communicate well with one another. Buy your diamonds elsewhere.

We worked with Marina who was so kind and knowledgeable which made us confident in our decision to work with SohoGem on our engagement and wedding band. Could not be more pleased with my experience here. Marina is an absolute expert. The collection is curated, high quality and well priced. My fiance and I got my engagement ring and both of our wedding bands here. Beyond wedding jewelry, they also have stunning colored gem jewelry collections. I never once felt like I was being pressured and they were very honest about what looked best on me, which I so appreciated!
I found this boutique through Google and am so glad that I did. Few jewelers will work with moonstone and opal, but Winona and the jeweler were experts in these stones. I've never learned so much about a stone before Winona explained the intricacies via an extremely helpful email during an inquiry stage. I took my wedding band (originally purchased from Etsy with moonstones and opals) to get the moonstones replaced with lab grown diamonds, because most of the moonstones had fallen out. Winona and colleagues were able to rework my ring by replacing the remaining moonstones with the marquise diamonds and filling in the empty settings with marquise diamonds. The process took less than three weeks and cost way less than I expected. I am extremely pleased and hope to work with them again in the future.

Soho Gem is the best! I was helped by Marina, and she made the entire ring shopping experience so great. Marina made sure I had the exact engagement ring design I wanted, AND well within my price range. My now fiancee loves her ring! :)

Working with Winona at Soho Gem was an absolute gem of an experience. She made a complicated process simple, fun and painless for myself (and definitely for my husband). She spent a lot of time with us to make sure we were comfortable and happy with everything. We were so thrilled with how everything turned out with the engagement ring, we went back to her for our wedding bands, which came out beautifully. I also worked with her on custom pieces for my mom and sister - she helped provide thoughtful designs and options, and executed them perfectly. She went above and beyond for us. Winona is incredibly thoughtful, detail oriented and patient -- not to mention absolutely amazing at what she does. We cannot recommend Soho Gem or Winona enough. Retno at soho gem helped me and my fiancée create a custom engagement ring. From the moment we walked in she greeted us with a smile. After hearing what my partner had in mind, she showed us some a selection of vintage ring settings that were exactly what we were looking for. From then on it was an extremely smooth process to select a diamond and talk about other customizations. Retno displayed her wide ranging knowledge in gemology and really made us feel like we were in extremely good hands.
