My wife and I booked this tour for our first day in San Diego and it was a tasty and historical treat. Our guide Bleu told us captivating stories about the area and some of the people and experiences that shaped Old Town. From seeing a haunted ghost mansion to the graves of the indigenous families who thrived here, it felt like a welcoming and fun history lesson mixed with some of the best tacos, elote, and churros I've ever had. Thanks for sharing this incredible piece of culture with us and I look forward to learning more!

I signed up for the Gas Lamp tour. I was in a group with four other people and an awesome tour guide named Magda. She was personable, professional and very knowledgeable. The tour included places to taste excellent food. Along the way Magda provided history about the area and answered all our questions. I really enjoyed myself and had fun interacting with the group. It was nice to go in a smaller group. I recommend this tour.

Bleu did an excellent job of keeping the wine tour interesting and fun. We really enjoyed her sharing the history of Little Italy. She is very knowledgeable and we learned so much. The 3 wineries we visited were great. The staff and service were fantastic. Definitely will be trying another one of the many tours you offer. Thanks for a memorable experience.

My whole family and I loved the Little Italy food tour! We had plenty of food, all with great quality, and just enough stops. We really enjoyed the Italian history, and we thought the tour was a great way to start our trip to San Diego. Shoutout to Bleu, who was an excellent tour guide! Would definitely recommend this as a way to meet people on a solo trip or an activity to do with a group.

Just finished a great food tour of the Gaslamp quarter with Magda! The food and drinks were delicious and Magda was super nice and knowledgeable about the history of the Gaslamp quarter. Highly recommend!

I'm so sorry for the inconvenience of cancelling your tour. This is not something we like to do at all, and wish we never had to do it. We do try to connect with our guests a couple of days in advance when a tour looks like it will be cancelled, and we did that in this case. We also offered alternative tours and dates. We understand your frustration, but we also have to look out for what makes sense for our company, and do our best to notify with enough notice.

Not Worth the Money or Time
The tour was pretty boring. The lady guide had only been doing tours for two years and just didn't have good communication skills, an in-depth knowledge of the gas lamp quarter and was not enthusiastic and energetic. My wife and I have been on over 10 of these types of tours and this one was the worst.

This is a very upsetting review to read, and I'm so sorry that you had this type of experience with our guide. We go through a thorough training process with our guides, and rarely get feedback like this about any of them. Our guides are typically very extroverted and they are equipped with plenty of historic facts about each area. They are also genuinely interested in the history, and typically take it upon themselves to continue their own research to ensure that their guests have a good time.
