I actually am so very super disappointed in Snappr. I had used them twice before and had great experiences but this time was actually an insane chain of events stemming from CORPORATE. I booked, what seemed to be an amazing photographer for my daughter’s baby shower well in advance. After booking, the photographer, David reached out to touch base and confirm all of the details (very professional!). All was confirmed, he was wonderful to talk to and I could tell he was an incredible photographer.
About five days before the baby shower, Snappr emailed me telling me that they were sorry but my photographer could no longer photograph my party and they were working to find another photographer for my event. I was so super confused but emailed back in a panic bc my event was 5 days away. Until 2 days before they were still “searching” and wanting further details on my event to find the “perfect photographer “ —I explained that I would just like a refund and was so disappointed in them, and my secured photographer bc we had spoken, and confirmed. In a scramble, I found a very SUBPAR photographer and my pictures are a nightmare btw. While at the shower David actually showed up with incredible equipment, dressed so professional and he has ZERO idea that Snappr canceled my booking. They did not even tell him. He was visibly upset -not with me, but he obviously just traveled from nyc to Long Island for nothing. Snappr clearly had something personal against him, and in their pride -to punish him, they punished me too. I will never do business with Snappr again. To treat their photographers in such a way is actually despicable. People work hard, traveling is expensive these days and they showed zero regard for their photographers and their customer base. In turn, my firstborn who is blessing us with a beautiful first grandchild -we got stuck with terrible photos bc of their unprofessional behavior. My mind is actually still blown. I provided all of the emails to David that Snappr sent to me canceling him so he can see-I can only hope he is compensated appropriately for his time. Hopefully he can take them to small claims court and I can be a witness on his behalf. Never again Snappr. Never.
