We have used Mike for ~5 years now, as our home IT guru. Literally any issue, we call Mike. He configured our comms cabinet, Sonos speak system, Ubiquiti hot spots around the house - everything. And then manages monthly maintenance of the entire network to make sure everything is up-to-date and running smoothly. In our house, not having wifi is worse than not having hot water, so having someone like Mike to hand has been hugely valuable, and I'd highly recommend him for any of your smart home/AV needs too. I'm extremely happy that I decided to go with Mike from SmartLife AV for my home cinema project. I approached other companies before his and while they have been in the industry longer, appeared to not know anywhere near the level of knowledge that Mike had. The ideas of how I wanted to the room to function and look wasn't entertained due to it possibly being extra hassle for them. On the other hand, Mike from SmartLife AV was able to capture exactly my ideas, and optimised it to a greater extent that I didn't think was possible. Mike truly went the extra mile and I was pleasantly suprised when he future proofed my cinema room by adding extra cables. Now I have more options if I want to future automate my home. In addition to this, he spent time explaining everything with regards to my equipment and technicalities around it so I learned alot in the process, which helped me to understand exactly what I wanted. Mike provides far more than a 5 star service. I look forward to using him again for any Smart AV jobs throughout my home.

Thanks Mike for installing and setting up my Gran on Facebook portal. After having been completely isolated from her friends and family and living alone through the entire UK lockdown, her family is now able to videocall her with ease. Thats one step closer for making her feel like she has her family around her and most importantly to be able to see and communicate with us remotely. Mike installed 6 new (replacement for existing ones) CCTV cameras for us and ran some new Cat6 cable throughout our house, as well as installing a wall mounted network rack for our existing (and some new) hardware. He also carried out numerous other small jobs that were not part of the original quote. There were a few teething problems, but they were all sorted out in the end. The attached photo shows the completed rack. Mike is very professional and hard working. Highly recommended if you are in the market for anything AV related !
