Capt. Wilson is a phenomenal choice for a guided fishing trip! I spent a total of two days fishing with him, and will book again once I’m in Charleston. He was extremely patient with me, even when I missed easy shots at Redfish and Tarpon. He’s passionate about what he does, and treats the fishery with utmost care and respect. I wouldn’t hesitate booking him again! If you’re on the fence on who to choose, Capt. Bryant is the easiest and best choice!
I had an awesome trip with Captain Bryant Flyfishing for Redfish. I’ve fished with a lot guides both salt and freshwater over the years, and he definitely deserves a spot as one of the best. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable about the fish, he is also willing to put in a lot of hard work to get you onto them. He was highly recommended to me by a friend who is also a very experienced fly fisherman and I was not disappointed. I will absolutely be booking him again in the future. On top of being an excellent guide he is an enjoyable person to fish with and you will have a great experience overall. I chose to use my own gear, but everything he provides if you choose to utilize his is top notch. Although I’ve done a fair amount of salt water fly fishing in the past this was my first time targeting Redfish. He is also an excellent teacher as by the time our trip was over I felt like I had learned a tremendous amount of information on how to successfully target Reds. I highly recommend him for anyone from a novice to experienced fisherman looking to catch Redfish on the fly!
Awesome day on the water with Captain Bryant. Had some tough conditions but capt Bryant still managed to put me on a monster redfish on fly. His knowledge of the area and fishing exceeded that of any other guide I’ve ever fished with. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a fly fishing guide in the Charleston area.
Capt Bryant knows what he's doing! Great guy with plenty of knowledge and extremely accommodating. I had some buddies in town and Bryant was able to work with me to make it happen with very short notice. The fish weren't chewing that day but hey, that's fishing. I Would highly recommend Capt Bryant to anyone local or abroad. Great guy, great knowledge, great experience! He will put you on the fish.
Fantastic day on the water with Capt. Bryant! He worked hard to put us on a handful of reds and was an excellent teacher throughout the day. His knowledge of the area and fishing techniques really enhanced the experience since we are somewhat new to saltwater fly fishing. Highly recommend him for anyone looking to spend a day fishing in Charleston. Can’t wait to get back out there with him in the future!
Capt Bryant is as good as it gets! He will put you quite literally on top of the fish, if you do your part as the angler you will have a very successful trip. His local knowledge of the area combined with his expertise with poling his skiff is well worth the price of admission. The South Carolina Lowcountry is something every passionate fly angler should do at least once. Capt Bryant is the man for the job. Patient, humble, and kind to boot!
