Literally from start to finish these guys were amazing. They respected our property and our possessions, everything was wrapped perfectly, and every item was handled with care. When they arrived at our new address it was during storm Claudia, but that did not take away the care given to all our possessions, nothing felt rushed. Before they left, they made sure we were happy that everything was where we wanted it. I would not hesitate in recommending you guys to anyone. Lovely friendly team where nothing was too much trouble. A massive thank you to you all.

I used Skinner & Sons for my recent removals as relocated. A very stressful time for everyone but Skinners turn up and packed into the van within 3 hours and we were on our way to our new home. Unpacking took less time and with 2 hours we were unpacked, bed put up and already settled in. I can’t stress enough that these guys made a stressful day so much easier and couldn’t do enough to make the experience as easy as possible. Thank you!

Skinners & Sons were absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Nikky came to quote what felt like months before we finally exchanged, and she was brilliant every time I rang to say “not yet, what are your next available dates?” for our long-distance move. Nothing was ever too much trouble. When the time came, Dylan and Dave arrived at my bungalow on the Sunday and packed everything carefully into their enormous van. Because we were going long distance to Scotland, they came back the next morning to collect the beds too. Everything was done so smoothly and with such reassurance, they really did pack everything to perfection. I had the full "pack and clean" package and Nikky did an brilliant job cleaning the bungalow from top to bottom. The team were cheerful, entertaining us with their stories, and worked so hard over those couple of days. We travelled by train while they drove up the motorway, and somehow we all arrived almost at the same time! It was a big move, but Skinners made it all feel manageable. I can’t recommend them enough.

We had an excellent experience with Skinner and Sons, before, during and after our move. Nikki was great when she visited our house for the estimate and answered all of our questions on the day and via email when we thought of a few more! Dave and Dillon were amazing on the day. They were so friendly and organised it completely took the stress out of moving - thank you both! We exchanged a few emails afterwards with Nikki and the aftercare was amazing too. What a great team!! Flexible, reliable, friendly, courteous! I could go on. Very easy to deal with from our initial enquiry, right up to moving; they took the stress out of everything and were so accommodating. The guys handled everything and took great care with our belongings. It was a very long day, but they remained happy to help right to the end, the whole team worked tirelessly and nothing was a problem. I can’t thank Skinner & Sons enough. I was reluctant to use movers however someone recomended Skinner & Sons. They have been...brilliant is an under statement. Punctual, fast, efficient and great guys. They have done way much more than expected...without breaking the bank. In and out in under 4 hours for a 2 bed flat to a 2 bed maisonette. Great service. Will definately recomend and will use again if needed. Thank you guys, you have taken off me all the stress that a house move brings.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! We moved from Essex to Louth in Lincolnshire last week on a very hot day. These guys deserve every bit of praise they get. They turned up exactly on time, were the most polite and courteous family ever. Dave, Jamie, Louis and Kian worked their socks off. They are so strong too!! Nikki was amazing also with delivering boxes when we asked for them. Sorting out our invoice and just generally being upbeat about everything. Dylan came the morning of the removal to make sure everything was in order too. We even received a new home card! What a touch. Thank you all once again. Keep up the fantastic work.

We used Skinner & Sons for our house move within Essex after they were recommended to us and we could not be happier with the service we received. Nikky was very knowledgeable, helpful and conscientious during the initial survey and answered all queries we had very professionally. Dave and the team were very professional, friendly and helpful on our moving day, no job was too much, and the whole move was completely seamless. Little things like ensuring all of our fragile furniture was carefully wrapped and handled with care and placing mats down in our new house to not disturb the carpets made the whole experience even better. The whole team are an absolute credit to the removals trade and we would recommend them to anyone moving home. Thanks so much again guys!

We can't thank Nikky, Dylan and the team enough for making the actual move the easiest part of the moving process! They were absolutely amazing from start to finish. We paid for the packing service and it was worth every penny. The team were so friendly and professional and had our whole house packed up in no time the day before the move, leaving me lots of time to make sure the house was spotless before we left the next day. On moving day, Dylan and the team were superstars. They dismantled and rebuilt everything and didn't leave until the last bit of furniture was back up. It was a very long day but they didn't stop smiling throughout and were so wonderful with the kids (even when I think they might have been in the way sometimes!!). Cannot recommend enough and if we're ever brave/stupid enough to move again we wouldn't go anywhere else!

Great service from this lovely family-run company. Nikki and all the team were so helpful and friendly, as well as extremely accommodating (agreeing to do my packing on the day before my move even though they also had another job on the same day, rather than the day before that which wasn't convenent for me). I also had the cleaning service after the removal, which was immaculate. All surfaces were shiny and fresh and they managed to get rid of all the copious cat hair that had accumulated under the furniture - no mean feat! Highly reccomended.
