Simon is an excellent instructor and I would recommend him to anyone looking to learn, especially if like me they have struggled with anxiety around driving. He stayed calm and kind even through some really stupid mistakes and never let me get in my head for more than a second.

Simon is a very patient and supportive driving instructor. Even when I made mistakes, he always stayed calm and explained everything clearly. As English is not my first language, I sometimes found it difficult to understand, but he always took the time to make sure I did. Simon is an excellent driving instructor. After a bad instructor experience previously and putting it off for years, Simon was able to get me there! Driving is not something I naturally ‘take’ to, so I knew I was going to have an uphill battle with my confidence when learning to drive. Simon’s encouraging and patient manner allowed me to develop skills at a rate I felt confident with, with a great result - Thanks to Simon, I was able to pass my driving test first time! I would absolutely recommend him.

I procrastinated learning to drive for six years due to nerves, so when I finally decided to learn, an automatic intensive seemed like the best option. Simon was supportive and funny, taking away the nerves, all while being clear and knowledgeable about teaching the best practices. I ended up passing my test first time! I went from never having driven a car to passing my test within a month! 🚗

Martha started learning in a manual car but soon decided that automatic was the way to go. We came across Simon by chance and I'm so glad we did. Prior to completing Simon's intensive driving course I had only ever ridden a motorbike. I found out quickly that a lot of the habits I developed on the motorbike were troublesome when it came to driving a car. Nevertheless Simon was patient and very comprehensive in his teaching. I could tell quickly that he is far more knowledgeable and experienced than the average instructor. After we completed our lessons I was above the necessary standard that was required for a pass. This is all down to Simon's excellent communication and his ability to adapt to each student that he takes on. I would highly recommend this course, to anyone who is either a complete beginner or an experienced driver who wants to refine their skills.

Before learning to drive with Simon I really couldn’t picture myself ever passing my test! From the get go he was really focused on the finer details that a lot of instructors miss, that definitely make a big difference to the driving standard. I found the intensive course tough as it’s long sessions and lots to take in, but after two days away to process everything I was learning I came back and was driving like I never had before. You really get your money’s worth with these lessons, and learn so much quicker. So grateful to Simon for helping me get my license!

Simon is brilliant, not only was I happy with the course and how it was delivered but I actually thoroughly enjoyed my week with him learning to drive an LGV. It is challenging and sometimes stressful, but Simon walked me through it at a great pace with a great teaching style which put me at ease. Come Friday I could head to my test with confidence and come away happy. Highly recommend…. Class 1 next!

As someone who’s had multiple instructors, both independent and agency based, Simon has by far been the best. After our first taster session, Simon had a solid understanding of what I needed to learn, how best to teach it to me, and a schedule that worked for me, which ultimately gave me the level of knowledge and confidence I needed to pass the test on my first attempt.
