We came for lunch and the salmon roll was very good and fresh. We came back at 10pm for the 10$ omakase bag; it came with a spicy tuna roll, a spicy tuna bowl and a miso soup that were all very tasty. Overall great flavor and value.

Review update: I’ve been coming here for almost a year now, and every time the food is exactly the same — delicious, well prepared and well packed. If you’re a vegetarian/vegan like myself, and live close to Prospect Park, look no further. The absolutely best!
Shack serving very cheap but high quality rice bowls and sushi. Really good deal and delicious, fresh food.
Ordered delivery from here to try out a now local spot and WOW, the quality + value + freshness were great.
- udon miso soup was classic but fantastic especially in the cold
- spicy tuna was one of the best I’ve had in a while
- I got the real crab cali roll, could’ve gotten the regular or gone without it but still nice
- simple and plain edamame - not salted which was really nice.
Happy I chose to support a local sushi joint rather than a large chain and the quality + care showed. Going to be visiting soon!

Silver Rice is one of those neighborhood spots that just makes you feel good. The food is always fresh, the portions are generous, and everything tastes like it was made with actual care. Their sushi bowls are my go-to on rainy days: simple, clean, and consistently delicious.
The staff is genuinely kind and welcoming, the kind of people who remember you and make you feel like a regular even if it’s only your second time in. The whole place has a relaxed, cozy vibe that fits Crown Heights perfectly.
If you live nearby, this quickly becomes a favorite. If you’re just visiting, you’ll wish you had something like this back home. Highly recommend. 🥢💛
The best casual sushi restaurant in the city and it's not even close. Small menu but everything is awesome. We order from here at least once a week if not more.
