We had a fabulous day touring and enjoying a cooking class in the comfort and gracious hospitality of Patricia’s beautiful home. It was the most delicious meal I had had in Italy to that point, as she sets a high standard to match👍🏼👍🏼 . I would highly recommend anyone take advantage of the opportunity to spend time with her and enjoy her culinary talents! 💕

Wir hatten aus Termingründen unseren Termin am Abend. Wir wollten Sizilien nicht nur sehen, sondern auch durch die sizilianische Küche verstehen lernen. Deshalb buchten wir einen Kochkurs. Es war Zufall, dass wir so ein großartiges Erlebnis miterleben durften. Patricia war so eine warmherzige und begnadete Begleiterin an diesem Abend, dass es für uns der Höhepunkt unserer sizilianischen Reise war. Sizilien besticht durch einfache,aber rafinierte Speisen. Wir haben sehr viel verstehen gelernt. Ich mag jetzt auch Mellanzani und die Caponata wir bei uns jetzt regelmäßig zubereitet. Dieser Abend hätte für uns nie enden sollen, so schön war er für uns. Empfehlung: den Kurs direkt bei Patricia buchen, unvergesslich mit dieser Frau zu philosophieren. Alles Gute Patricia

Truly amazing experience … I would even go as far to say it was one of the best experiences of our entire trip in Italy. From start to finish Patrizia made our wine tasting experience feel like we were truly at home with a friend. It was supposed to be a wine tasting of Sicilian wines and cheeses but not only that , we ended up tasting pastas and other dishes she cared to share with us while recanting stories and talking about Sicily. Truly a one of a kind experience that is ABSOLUTELY worth it and will definitely be back again !

If you're planning to do anything while in Sicily, make sure this is at the top of your list! My friend and I chose the country house cooking class with Patrizia, and it was truly unforgettable. We took the train from Palermo to Santo Stefano, where Patrizia warmly greeted us and drove us to her stunning country home nestled in the mountains. The setting was picturesque, and Patrizia welcomed us with open arms, sharing her passion for cooking and Sicilian hospitality. We prepared a delicious meal together, sipped wine, and enjoyed wonderful conversation. It was a unique and enriching experience, unlike anything we've done before. This is an absolute must if you're in the Palermo or Santo Stefano area

Tucked away in a warm, sun-dappled street in the heart of Palermo, we had the privilege of stepping not just into a cooking class but into a story. The woman who welcomed us—Patrizia, warm, graceful, and earthy—cooked like someone born with olive oil in her veins. Her stunning black cat Nini, sharp-eyed and full of gentle playfulness, languidly lounged, occasionally observing our chopping with feline judgment. This was not just a class — it was immersion.
The apartment, nestled in an old building that felt like it had absorbed centuries of laughter and spice, smelled like toasted pine nuts, basil, and the faint salt of the nearby sea. The kitchen was orchestrated like an opera stage—each spice, each utensil in its rightful place, the whole room alive with color and movement.
Patrizia led us through a four-course extravaganza, illuminated by her skillful storytelling. Every dish came with a story—of family, of the island, of history. My favorite was pasta con pesto alla Trapanese. If you’ve only known basil pesto, Trapanese is like meeting pesto’s sun-kissed cousin who has spent her whole life on a windswept cliff overlooking the Mediterranean. Almonds, fresh tomatoes, garlic, cheese, and basil are blended with olive oil, salt, and red pepper flakes, then tossed with pasta. It was silky, vibrant, utterly alive.
This wasn’t just a cooking class. It was a portal into the Sicilian soul, a celebration of seasonal beauty, family bonds, and the quiet rituals that turn food into a sacred memory.

Meeting Patrizia and having lunch with her was best part of our time in Palermo. Patrizia is a wonderful cook and host. We had a fantastic seafood lunch, great wine and even better conversation. I would highly suggest having lunch/dinner or just wine with Patrizia!

Our session was in the countryside, and the experience cannot be matched with a commercial cooking class. This is authentic Italian home style cooking class. You will learn and eat much.
