Shirescapes came highly recommended by our garden designer, Rory Andrews. From the very first meeting Harry understood what we wanted. He also understood how we live and how he could work with us. The project took a couple of months through the wettest winter/early spring imaginable. Harry and George pressed on through wind and rain and never once knocked off early or complained. The project was finished on time and to budget - despite some changes along the way. Harry has an exceptional eye for detail and everything he does is thoughtful and precise. The finished garden is better than we could have imagined and throughout the work Harry and his team were a delight to have around. Always cleaning up at the end of the day and always detailing what had been done and what was happening next. Rather than just working to a brief Harry is always thinking about what could be improved or changed as the project took shape. A real craftsman as well as creative. I would not hesitate to recommend Shirescapes. 100% delighted.

Harry and George spent several weeks with us this summer putting down a large new patio, and replacing a gravel drive with block paving, and it was an absolute pleasure to have them here every day. It was clear from the outset how knowledgeable Harry is about every aspect of landscaping, and we felt completely confident in the many ideas and suggestions he came up with. He designed both projects himself, producing detailed images of what the finished patio would look like. His costs were very competitive, and both projects ran to time and within budget. Harry and George are perfectionists, and every aspect of the work was completed with the greatest care and professionalism, from digging out and preparing the base, to the beautifully finished paving, low retaining wall and inlaid brick pavers. They dealt calmly with unexpected elements such as uncovering an old rainwater cistern beneath the patio, finding solutions quickly and efficiently. We would not hesitate to recommend Shirescapes to anyone requiring any kind of landscaping. Our patio area and drive have been transformed, as the photos clearly show!

Harry and his team have transformed our garden which was largely set to lawn when we moved in. We could not be happier with the new design. This was large project that Shirescapes undertook in two phases. The first phase included widening the gravel drive, building pathways and creating flower beds. The second phase comprised a whole redesign of our decking area including Millboard Decking, porcelain paving and clay pavers in addition to the creation of new flower beds. Harry was excellent at keeping us up to date with progress throughout the project and providing solutions to issues as they arose. We are delighted with the results and I would have no hesitation in recommending Shirescapes for any landscaping projects.

We are so happy with the service and attention to detail we received from Shirescapes Limited. Harry and his team transformed our garden from essentially a paddock to a beautiful space which we are thrilled with. The project covered all aspects of landscaping including creating a new flat lawn, establishing new edged flower beds, creating a new old-brick and York stone terrace, renovating an old barn, installing an irrigation system, creating a swale, planting some large trees, shrubs and beech hedge, erecting new wooden fencing, creating a large compost bin area and re-gravelling the front drive. Harry is highly skilled, works incredibly hard and is a perfectionist. So every single element of the project was completed to a very high standard. Nothing is too much trouble. He also managed to keep the project on track despite some very bad weather (a lot of rain!). Thanks to everyone at Shirescapes for making our beautiful garden and we would not hesitate to recommend Harry and his team.

We worked with Shirescapes on a total redesign of our garden and we couldn't be happier. Harry was absolutely brilliant, from start to finish and even when the project (or the weather!) threw him some curveballs, everything was dealt with without any stress and we always felt that we knew what was happening and what what next. Harry and his team did the most fantastic job on a very difficult site with a very complicated design and limited access! We are over the moon with the results. He is an absolute perfectionist and even when we added features as we went along, he was more than happy to accommodate our wishes although it meant they all had to work harder and later so that they weren’t late for the start of their next job. No hesitation in recommending them at all, they really do know their stuff. Everyone is amazed at how incredible our garden looks, just wish I had taken some before photos so that you could appreciate the difference.

When we met Harry for the initial visit, he immediately inspired confidence, with his knowledge of the possibilities for our plot, and of suitable materials. We knew what we preferred in terms of finish and he suggested and provided links to some beautiful limestone. The problem was we didn't know where to start, so we contacted Nicky Heighes (@_thegardenfairy_) who produced a fantastic design and recommended Harry and his team at Shirescapes for the landscaping. Harry and his team came back with a very competitive quote and we knew immediately he was the right person for the job. Harry and the team (Max and Harrison) were a pleasure to work with, polite, punctual, tidy and extremely hardworking. Harry is very knowledgeable and made several useful suggestions that have made a big difference to the overall effect. The team's professionalism and attention to detail was second to none, even making sure the patio bricks were exactly the same as those on the house! The team finished the project on budget and schedule and were very flexible throughout, working around our builders who had not quite finished the extension. To say we never leave reviews is an understatement so the fact that we are now just goes to show how much we rate our experience with Shirescapes Ltd. We used these guys to lay a completely new rear patio that then carried all the way round the side and to the front of our house. They always arrived when they said they would, worked tirelessly throughout the day and most importantly always cleared up when they were done. If Harry couldn’t make it to site and he sent his lads he often came round to check their progress. And on that note, his two lads, Max and Harrison are a credit to him, professional, polite, friendly and hardworking!
