Shank Door - Lancaster has been my GO-TO for all Garage Door Opener Installation and repairs. Our Garage Door wouldn’t stay down. I called Shank Door on Saturday 1/31/2026 afternoon and Harold H promptly returned my call. He was kind enough to walk me through assisting him with diagnosing the issue remotely after which we decided it was best that they come to resolve the issue. Shank called me first thing Monday morning and we agreed for them to send a technician on Tuesday. I was happy to find Harold H was the specialist Shank sent to diagnose and fix the problem. Harold had all parts needed (16ft hallow tubing with new springs and bearings). Harold H. did an excellent job installing the new equipment. Harold H. Is very polite, professional, and truly worked to solve problems to my satisfaction. For this reason, I give Harold H. And Shank Door a Platinum 5 star rating

We used Shank Door to purchase and install new garage doors for our home. Jim was very helpful in aiding us in our selection of doors and in placing the order. Joe and Liam did a great job installing the doors and openers and made sure I knew how everything worked before they left. Our new doors look great, provide more insulation, and are so much more quiet than our old doors. So far we are very happy with the result. We’ve had Shank Door come out to our home in the Lehigh Valley twice now. Once for custom entry doors for the front and back of the house and another time for replacing the weather stripping around our garage doors. Both times we had excellent and professional service. Devin W. and Tim D. Took great care to work diligently, keep areas clean and work safe during both projects. We were highly satisfied with both jobs and would certainly consider using Shank again in the future. Mike in Sales also was prompt in responses and stayed in contact throughout the process. 5/5. Couldn't be happier with response time on call-back and setting an appointment. I called Monday am and they came Tuesday. Joe came to troubleshoot my non-functioning garage door due to my mistake. He couldn't have been more courteous, honest, respectful! Turned out to be a quick fix and Joe serviced all 3 doors while here. I needed and appreciated his honesty, as I had a lot of work going at the time, at the house. Class act! (Shank Door Co. installed the doors when the garage was built 15 years ago. They are still beautiful and functioning quietly and smoothly.) I would highly recommend this company to anyone: 5 Stars!

We had a very good experience with Shank Door, who replaced our garage door opener with exactly what we wanted. We have an older (1980's) garage door which we did not want to replace, but we were expecting pressure to do so since it is old. We also thought we might face a hard sell for a more expensive model. We got no pressure, they totally understood our budget concerns. The technician, Ryan H, who then came to replace the opener came on time, and did a fabulous job on one of the coldest days! He was very friendly and respectful of our property. I recommended Shank based on our good experience with them
