Jocelyne helped me with a lot of my questions & concerns I highly recommend this firm!!!
I’ve tried to be patient, but my experience with this firm has been extremely frustrating. I retained them in late December and went through an intake, then a follow-up, and then yet another follow-up where I was asked the same questions again because my information apparently hadn’t been properly recorded. That alone raised concerns about their organization and attention to detail.
Since then, communication has been very poor. I’ve sent emails to both the firm and support and have gone over a week without any response. On top of that, I haven’t received any updates on my case in over a month, nor have I been clearly guided on what the next steps are.
What’s most concerning is that I’ve had to constantly follow up just to get basic answers. Communication feels completely one-sided, and it shouldn’t be the client’s responsibility to chase down updates about their own case.
I also find it concerning that the firm offers incentives for reviews. Because of this, I would encourage anyone reading positive reviews to carefully consider their authenticity.
At this point, I’m very disappointed. This is not the level of representation or professionalism I expected when I chose this firm.
The worst law firm, they pressure you to write a great review before you truly find out how they are. You will never be able to speak to an Attorney there assistants Martin pretends to be so helpful and attentive in the begining then after the review will ignore you. Crystal and Jess made up events, dates, names on case memo about things i never said. Read everything they write because they clearly got other things going on. I canceled my retainer agreement with them then I get a letter in the mail by Shaun Setareh himself (finally a real Attorney) and he claims this office won't be taking my case lol their a joke anything to cover up their mess. I have all the emails as proof this is a horrible law firm HORRIBLE!
Stay away from these guys. Little to no follow up, have not given me an update on my case in months, don't respond back to my emails, just really lacking any true professionalism or client awareness. Highly recommend taking your business elsewhere, even if you have to pay for an initial intake fee or meeting fee. I would give these guys zero stars if I could.
After consulting with a few law firms, Jocelyn struck me as patient, cautious but caring, informed, tenacious, and intelligent. She listened to my convoluted circumstances and consulted with her superiors, without making any promises. I had a lot to say re: My claim. After carefully calculating the scenario I depicted to her, they agreed to take my case for many violations/reasons. God has once AGAIN sent the right firm to my defense . Jocelyn was truly the best when making all of this possible--effective communicator, empathetic, and informed !!
Setareh law group was very helpful in my employment lawsuit hopefully my next employer doesn't have to meet them like the last one but if the do Setareh will be waiting for them

Thank you, Coleen! We're glad we could assist you. Here's to smoother experiences in the future, but if ever needed, we're here to help.
I give a 1 Star because I had done an intake with them, they offer me a Retainer Agreement, and then while reviewing I see it has verbiage that invites a class action which I did not want. I asked about this over the phone and they said "that is just legal talk" and "we do not modify our retainer agreement". Again, the verbiage made me uncomfortable and I felt as if I could be pushed into a potential class action with no way to opt out if I signed it. So I declined at the time. LATER, I find out what they sent me was a CLASS ACTION Retainer Agreement which I specifically did not want. Not once did I say I wanted to lead a class action and I specifically said I had individual claims. Just because I have claims of wage and hour issues does not mean a firm can do whatever they want with that when not in the best interest of the client. So I felt deceived and this place should be looked into. Good thing I did not sign anything and was careful. There is another review on here about the exact same issues and so I would say these are not isolated incidents. People, BE CAREFUL.

Hey Colin, we’re genuinely really sorry to hear that our communication left you feeling uncomfortable or uncertain about the retainer you received.
Our firm works with both individual and class-based employment matters, and our retainers are designed to clearly outline all potential legal pathways that may be available based on the facts of a case. However, we understand that legal language can feel unclear or concerning without thorough explanation, and we regret if we did not provide the level of clarity you expected during your intake process.
We want to be clear that no client is ever obligated to proceed with any legal action they are not comfortable with, and no representation begins unless and until a retainer is voluntarily signed.
We take feedback like yours seriously and use it to improve how we explain our documents and processes moving forward.
I've taken the time to speak to our team and they're almost certain there was a misunderstanding. If you would be open to it, we welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly to better understand your concerns and address them more fully.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention and we hope for the opportunity to clear anything up with you.
