I’ve had Service Professor come out for a few different major projects now including plumbing issues with a couple toilets, issues with the AC unit, and water heater. Each time the techs who came out (Adam Rosema, Matt Bates, Josh Lenhart) were professional, knowledgable, and gave great value in their service. I’ll keep using Service Professor for all my future needs I cannot handle myself.

Unfortunately for us we didn't have a great experience. We called for the $99 drain clearing special. When we continued to have issues a couple of days lager we called back to express our concern, but we were met with rudeness on the phone. Rather than help us try to resolve the issue and understand our issue we were met with defensiveness and a very condescending tone. I'm sure working in this customer service role is met with lots of difficult people, but we felt they were taking their frustrations out on us. Calling and scheduling the initial appointment was easy. Communication leading up to the appointment was good. The plumbers that came to the house were okay, but didn't explain the issue, what they did, and how they "fixed" the issue. Instead we ended up having call another plumber to take care of the clogged drain for a more expensive emergency weekend service. They were much more informative explaining what happened, where the clog took place, and what we could do to prevent it in the future. Unfortunately, you'll be better off spending more to have a better experience elsewhere. We read a lot of the negative reviews on reddit but went for Service Professor hoping to save some money and in the end wasted more time and money because of it.

I'm not satisfied with Service Professor - Grand Rapids. I needed a sewer line blockage cleared out and was ensured that it could be taken care of. After the tech reviewed the issue for about 15 minutes, they quickly reported that "they couldn't fix it" and need to come back out with high end equipment costing approximately $4000 to fix the issue. Tech immediately told me that "it could be financed" if necessary. Positive: Tech was on time Negative: Tech could not fix my issue and offered a HUGE additional cost to get me fixed When leaving, tech dislodged trim on my stairwell when pulling equipment out When leaving, tech hooked equipment on door hardware and pulled it out of the wall. He attempted to screw it back in but it was damaged & the screw didn't hold I had another local company come out the next day & they resolved my issue within an hour without excuses or huge extra costs Unless you are not able to get any other company to help you, I'd say steer clear.

HVAC tech Nick and Rich were outstanding. Furnace stopped working temps in the teens. Nick came out discovered mother board on furnace out. rushed a new board Rich assisted him in getting us up and running. Both real great guys! Consumers Power Program so I paid nothing, but I know the part was very expensive.

Stunned to see 5 star reviews. Our furnace went out they came that day (1 star) Told me they waived the $79 fee just to come and give me an estimate WHOO HOO-you're charging me? Guy gets her & wants $84 to diagnose.Wasn't told this on the phone. Are you kidding? BEWARE! A lot like a Bait and switchj. I will never call them again

We had our furnace replaced. We didn't have a lot of time to get estimates, etc. as it was in the single digits and negative at night and they turned the gas off and red tagged or old furnace so we couldn't use it until replaced. The cost was very high compared to the research I did on the internet. The guys were an hour and a half late getting to our house, knowing I had an 85 and 81 year old in the home. They were supposed to arrive between 9:00-9:30. They called at 8:45 and said his dog got out and he's chasing him down the street but the other is there and will get started. The next thing I knew he drove away. They finally got to my house at 11:00. The furnace was fixed and had been running great for these last couple days since they left. Thank you for that.
