I had the pleasure of getting my haircut done by Lexy, and she was amazing! She really took her time to make sure I was happy with every detail. Even when I changed my mind about what I wanted, she was intuitive and guided me to a style I ended up absolutely loving, the shape was perfect. The salon itself was exactly what I expected: modern, hip, and buzzing with talent. Everyone there was clearly doing a great job. I will definitely be coming back!

Joe does a great job with my haircut. I've been going to him for almost 2 years and have always gotten good cuts that grew out well. He knows what's going to look good since I'm not great at describing how to cut it. This week's cut got nice compliments from a neighbor of mine (who's a stylist at another salon). Semion's shop at Stanley has a pretty comfortable vibe and is easy to to schedule.

I started going to Semion when it first opened on union station, and let me tell you I have never been to a barber shop so welcoming and friendly. One of the barbers Marcus, gets me right and makes sure I get exactly what I want, all while offering great advice when it comes to my hair. Pricing is insanely reasonable and definitely worth coming back to with how great your haircut will be.

Had a great experience getting my haircut with Dawn at Stanley Marketplace. She’s actually been cutting my hair for over three years now, and that consistency really shows in the quality of her work. From the start, she’s always been easy to talk to and takes the time to understand exactly what I’m looking for. She never rushes and pays close attention to the details, which definitely comes through in the final result. The cut is always clean, sharp, and exactly how I want it. You can tell she takes pride in what she does and truly knows her craft. On top of that, the whole experience is relaxed and enjoyable every time. Love this place! I’ve been getting my haircut here for several years now. Normally my go-to barber is Christine who always does a great job with my hair and makes great conversation. She was out of town when I went to get my haircut today, so Espy M was able to get me in quickly. She did a really great job with my hair and even cleaned up my eyebrows! Overall this is a great place to get a haircut and I’ll keep coming back here.

The most painful and rough haircut I’ve ever gotten, I thought my head was going to start bleeding as she was trying to fade the back of my head. The angle she held the razor felt like she was scraping my skin off, and again I’ve had this done many times and this is the first where it put me on edge. She didn’t bother to show me the back of the cut with a mirror at the end which I feel is pretty standard, and wiped me down so aggressively with the towel that I thought I was at the dog groomer. After all that, the haircut wasn’t a mid fade, just another low taper that looks grown out. While I wasn’t going in with super high expectations, this was really the worst customer service and treatment. No conversation. The shop is smart because it hires young women so most of the clients were older men who probably care less about the quality of cut. They accept walk-ins but unless you’re in a pinch, would not recommend. The owner later texted me to make things right and offered a refund so I’ve added back two stars but I still wouldn’t go back.
