Ende August konnten wir bei glücklichen Wetterumständen einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang im Rahmen der Puffin Safari erleben. Von See aus bietet sich eine andere Perspektive. Einen Puffin konnten wir nur aus der Entfernung erblicken, da am Ende der Saison sich die Vogelwelt verändert hat. Unser sehr freundlicher und hervorragender Kapitän fuhr sogar in eine Höhle und beantwortete alle unsere Fragen geduldig. Diese Tour war eines der schönsten Ereignisse auf den Färöer während unseres Urlaubs. Wir hatten sogar das Glück Grindwale beobachten zu dürfen. Diese Tour ist sehr zu empfehlen!

Wonderful sunset at the end of the season. At the end of August we were able to experience a beautiful sunset in happy weather conditions as part of the Puffin Safari. From the sea there is a different perspective. We could only see a puffin from a distance, as at the end of the season the birdlife has changed. Our very friendly and excellent captain even drove into a cave and answered all our questions patiently. This tour was one of the most beautiful events in the Faroe Islands during our holiday. We were even lucky enough to observe pilot whales. This tour is highly recommended!

A wonderful sunset boat ride! My brother and I went on a sunset boat tour with Sólja as our captain. She is fantastic. She is a great skipper and she makes everything fun. She is also very knowledgeable about every part of the Faroe Islands. We were told she would show us diamonds and that person was right. The scenery was spectacular! We loved everything we saw and enjoyed every minute with her. She is the best!

The boat trip we took with my wife was unforgettable. Even though it’s not the high season anymore (early September), we still managed to see puffins and even whales! It was a bit cold, even though we got lucky with the sun, so pack your warm water/wind-proof clothing. Special thanks to Elias, the captain and the tour guide, who’s shown us all the most beautiful places and added the flavour to them by sharing all the fun personal stories as well as the Faroese tales. Can’t recommend enough

We booked a 90 minute cruise and absolutely enjoyed it. The scenery is stunning and our skipper and guide Elias made the trip a funny one. He explained in great detail and told many stories. We spotted a few puffins, many gannets and other birds along the way. We can definititely recommend the tour.

Good photo opportunity and an interesting communication The boat trip itself provided great photo opportunities because Elias controlled the boat wisely and safely around Dranganir. In addition, we got an interesting and lively story about bird and wildlife and other local conditions by Elias, who is a really good mediator.

We had an amazing day with Andreas as our captain. The weather was quite breezy so we couldn’t get out the bay to the outer cliff walls but we still got some amazing views and some great views of the puffinbirds and the rockformations. Great boat that fit all 10 of us for our private tour. All 5 adults and 5 kids had an amazing tour. Highly recommended.

Vi var på tur med Sølja. En særdeles kompetent skipper med stor viden om Færøerne, både natur, historie og kulturen. Hun delte flittigt af sin viden til stor glæde for alle sammen. Vi blev sejlet rundt i Vágar området hvor vi så lunden, sæler og en lang række fugle vi ikke husker navnet på. Hun kom med en stribe oplysninger om lakseopdræt, og hvordan det gøres her. Vejret var godt og søen rolig, jeg giver de største anbefalinger til Sølja og resten af teamet bag. En super oplevelse fra første kontakt til sidste mand var gået fra borde.

Excellent boat tour to see Puffins Truly enjoyed the Puffin Safari. Greatly appreciated the small size group tour that Seatravel offers. There was space to move around and just enjoy the scenery and birds. Our Captain was a wealth of knowledge and despite fog starting to roll in, we saw a lot of puffins. Highly recommend the Puffin Safari Boat Tour.

Great trip on a sunny day We were lucky with the weather which capped off what was a most enjoyable trip. Our guide was full of local/family knowledge which made it more interesting than just pointing out physical featuresOnly quibble is that it is not cheap (but then what is in the Faroe Islands) and so the only reason to not give 5 stars is on the basis of value for money
