Our favourite dive shop! Bas and Kim run a fantastic team, dives are well planned and we have always felt safe and happy in their hands! Always laughter and big smiles, yummy indo veggie lunch between dives, we have seen so many beautiful sites and gorgeous manta rays etc. My 4th visit to Lembongan and have dived with them every time!
Deze week 4 prachtige duiken gemaakt. Vanaf het eerste moment voel je je gelijk welkom. Iedereen is heel vriendelijk en je merkt de passie en liefde voor het duiken. Ze nemen de tijd voor je en willen je onderwater van alles laten zien. Het enthousiasme is aanstekelijk. Wanneer we terugkomen zullen we hier zeker weer naar toe gaan. I have just come back from Nusa Lembongan where I had the fantastic opportunity to do my Open Water diver certification with SCA. My step daughter and her partner also completed there OW certification at the same time.
The team at SCA were just fantastic. Welcoming, professional and made it fun. At all times we felt safe and in good hands.
Our instructor Kris was fantastic, very knowledgeable and patient. He went out of his way to help my son Adam to do his confined water part of the course.
Overall, I can not fault the team and highly recommend them for anyone who is interested into getting into diving.
Im already planning my next trip over and will be looking at doing my Advanced OW with the team at SCA.

Dive sites ridiculously busy and dangerous kit
We would not recommend this dive center. Whilst the communication prior to our booking was great, with quick correspondence over email and answers to our queries, the vibe once we arrived was very odd and not welcoming. We booked in advance to do some fun dives and knew we would be going to Manta Point and Crystal Bay (as they’re the daily sites of most centres around here by the seems of it…). We also knew that these sites would likely be relatively busy…however that’s an understatement. It is dangerous, unethical and unsustainable. There are a ridiculous number of divers and snorkellers at Manta Point. It is putting a lot of pressure on the natural ecosystem and it was way way too busy. There were at least 30-40 divers plus numerous snorkellers all over the manta cleaning station. It is not fair on the mantas and I really did not like being a part of those numbers. Had we had known it was going to be like this, we wouldn’t have gone. It was also dangerous from a divers perspective with peoples fins in your face and regulators being kicked from peoples mouths. My dive buddy was shoved out of the way by one diver who wanted to swim towards a manta…totally unethical, and totally tourist and money oriented. We should not exploit our oceans like this. Crystal bay was not much different. Again incredibly busy with at least 40 boats all in the bay. Whilst the guides were clearly competent divers, the whole vibe was just very money grabbing, not really customer focussed or all about trying to make sure you had a great time. In addition, the equipment was shocking…worst equipment I have ever used in a dive centre. The regulators were rusty, my buddy had to ask for a new regulator set because he was handed one with an entirely split inflator hose…completely unacceptable and entirely dangerous. Utterly shocking that they wouldn't even check their own kit, let alone let it get to a stage like that! My regulator purge button was broken and leaked in water, and my BCD was 2 sizes too big and they said they didn’t have any others. All in all, one of the worst dive centres and diving experiences I’ve had. I would not recommend the sites, nor the center. These sites need to be managed sustainably, and at the moment, they really aren’t. The center need to invest in new kit, as their current stock seems to be decades old.
I did my open water certification with Viki and had a great experience. He made the course fun but also informative. I enjoyed it so much that I stayed on with the centre to also do my advanced certification with Julian. He made the course extremely fun as well as sharing his vast knowledge with us. I felt safe with him the whole time. Would highly recommend.
Top ervaring! 🌊 Ik voelde me vanaf het eerste moment super welkom. Het team is niet alleen mega vriendelijk, maar ook ervaren en professioneel. Last minute kon ik nog aansluiten. In totaal heb ik 4 prachtige duiken gemaakt met Inyo en Fabio, die allebei zoveel rust en enthousiasme uitstralen. Echt een aanrader voor iedereen die wil duiken in Nusa Lembognan!
Afgelopen dagen hele fijne training gehad van instructeur Viki!🫶🏻 Hij neemt de tijd om alles rustig uit te leggen en weet echt ontzettend veel. Viki is een ervaren duiker en scuba center Asia mag ontzettend blij zijn met zo’n top duiker! (En dat zijn ze ook😁)
Ik heb hier mijn PADI gehaald en deze duikschool heeft echt alles op orde👌🏼
