Great Academy..Me and my partner just moved to Leeds and we went here for a class at it was amazing! 10/10. The place was super clean (which is very important for a martial arts academy imo). And the instructor Fred was very kind and accommodating… the people training there a also very friendly and helpful. Amazing place. 100% getting the membership! 🤝🏽

Last week I had my first ever jiu jitsu session at Scramble. The facilities were top notch and everyone in the class was friendly and welcoming. Fred led the session and was great easing me into things as I knew absolutely nothing. The session itself was well structured, and engaging throughout. Will be back for more.

I first joined Scramble as somebody with no experience with BJJ, and found the concept of partaking in a sport like this a bit daunting. Everybody in the academy welcomed me in from my first session, with all the members and coaches being super friendly and welcoming. Training here made my transition into BJJ a lot more comfortable, and the quality of everything within the gym really helped me in curating my love for this sport. All of the facilities here are of super high standard, there are multiple rooms, good quality changing rooms and an S&C section. The mats are well cared for and the gym is super clean. The coaching is top notch, with well achieved and professional coaches running sessions every day of the week. Everyone is super approachable and will always help with any questions you have. If you’re in or around Leeds, I’d definitely recommend training here. It is worth the trip!

Having 8 years experience training at different gyms bjj gyms, i can say scramble academy Leeds is top quality. The class structure makes it comfortable and accessible for beginners while also allowing more experienced people to experiment with techniques and be playful when drilling. I felt like they do a great job especially easing beginners into the sport, not throwing them into the deep end straight away but making them comfortable and confident. The coaches were very helpful and give a lot of useful details to any questions you have and I learnt a lot from my short time there. The gym feels like it has created a great culture where everyone wants to help each other get better, but also is quite relaxed and there is no pressure. The facilities are very clean, big mat space, decent sized changing rooms. I had a great time during the week I trained there, everyone was extremely friendly and I’ll definitely be returning when I’m in the area again.

Just wanted to say how much of a professional and friendly environment this place is. This was my first time ever training so I was a bit nervous thinking that I wouldn’t have a partner / know what to do. Straight away a member came and talked me through the techniques in detail, taking time out of his session to make the best possible environment for me. Everyone was super friendly asking simple questions, what’s your name? Is this your first time? Where are you from? All taking caution as a first timer while still making you graft.

Brilliant for kids. We bring our 7 year old here. We’ve tried other places and he often didn’t want to go but he really enjoys this one and has made good friends here. The instructors are knowledgeable, kind and patient. Defo recommended 👍

Had an amazing time training here. Done couple of drop in for kickboxing and mma. Loads better than other places I'v trained in Leeds. Very relaxed sparring but that just mean can work my stuff. The coaches are great, really know their stuff and actually manage the class even during sparring. Other places it's just rough and the coaches do whatever.
