I appreciate that Amsterdam is an expensive city, but charging €18.95 for a breakfast this simple takes confidence. Everything tasted fine, but if this is what earns such a high rating, my standards and the internet’s standards may be slightly different.

Simply not worth it. The pricing is impressively ambitious considering there is no particularly memorable service or standout quality to match it.
I ordered scrambled eggs, which cost €18.50 without any drink included. What arrived was essentially two slices of sandwich bread with eggs and a very small amount of salad. For that price point, I would have expected something far more refined, especially since it is even more expensive than similar places in London or Switzerland — which is rather difficult to understand.
I also asked for a glass of tap water, but was told this was not available and that I would need to pay €3.50 for bottled water instead. Overall, a surprisingly expensive experience for something so basic.

great prices in comparison to other restaurants around. I highly recommend the Philadelphia steak it was great!! The portions are perfect for sharing.
