Wat een heerlijke dagen heb ik hier gehad! Terug naar het authentieke Bali, geen massa toerisme, geen herrie, geen "influencer scene". De Wani tent is fantastisch! Van alle gemakken voorzien compleet met uitgebreid koffie station, prachtig uitzicht en de badkamer ontworpen door Toine is geweldig! De dagtocht met de open jeep was super gevarieerd met prachtige wandelingen, op bezoek bij lokale ondernemers en de heerlijke lokale specialiteit entil als lunch. Wandeling naar de nabijgelegen watervallen is ook een must do! Alsof je in een schilderij loopt, zo mooi. Het eten van Mega is het beste en meest smaakvolle eten wat ik op Bali gegeten heb! Super bedankt voor alles, heb me heel erg senang en welkom gevoeld en kom zeker terug. Hopelijk blijft Sanda haar schoonheid en authenticiteit behouden!

Altijd heel erg mooi om te horen als er zo wordt genoten van vooral onze omgeving, de jeep tour, de wandelingen, de rust, etc. En uiteraard ook de Wani tent en het eten. Dat is precies waarom we dit doen en ook ons iedere keer weer zo veel plezier geeft!
We kijken uit naar je volgende bezoek :)

I enjoyed a lovely 3 night stay at Sanda Plantation Hideaway - it was just what I needed after an intense period of focussing on a project. Toine & Mega were excellent hosts, I was able to visit the birds hides many times (I saw a female banded pitta, jungle fly catchers and a collared kingfisher). Also Toine took me on a morning trip to the nearby jungle which was a great opportunity for me to practice my macro photography technique. The food (much of it from the plantation or local) was varied and all delicious, all of the portion size very generous. Mega's cooking skills are very impressive! Such a nice experience to be able to have fresh coffee grown on the plantation. I'd love to return if I find myself nearby at some point in the future

Hier moet je naar toe, heel bijzonder, ideaal om je vakantie lekker ZEN te starten ☺ 100% score voor het uitzicht 100% score voor het heerlijke en uitgebreide ontbijt! 100% score voor de bijzondere slaapplek 100% score voor de buiten-badkamer met alweer super uitzicht 100% score voor het koffie ritueel 100% score voor de gastvrijheid 100% score voor de yogamatten 100% score voor de goede WiFi en elektriciteit 100% score voor de aangeboden excursies, vooral de wandeling in de plantages waren top 100% score voor het diner, verassend, uitgebreid, royaal, heerlijk, met liefde gemaakt en speciale vermelding voor de heerlijke worst gemaakt van varken ‘uit eigen tuin’ ☹ Niets veel tegen. Kleine tip; creëer ergens een zithoekje in de zon…ik had nu de neiging om het tentdoek aan de zonkant open te rollen maar dat was niet mogelijk. Ik houd van warmte en word blij van de zon. Misschien een mini terrasje rechts boven de Safari style tent?

An unforgettable experience! Toine and Mega are amazing hosts – so warm and attentive. The accommodation was very comfortable, and the view over the rice fields felt like something from another world. The food was outstanding – truly next level! I also had the chance to explore a bit the surrounding area, and the small hike with Putu to a waterfall was a real highlight. Such a unique place and definitely one of the most beautiful accommodations I’ve ever stayed in :) thank you again!

Wer Natur und Ruhe sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Ein kleines Juwel abseits ausgetretener Touristenpfade. Dazu kommen Mega, die fantastisch kocht, Toin, der sich um alles kümmert, Made, der einem die besten Plätze zur Vogelbeobachtung zeigt und Putu.

Wat hebben we genoten!!! Het uitzicht, de omgeving de gastvrijheid. We verbleven 5 dagen in de "tent" en hebben geen toerist gezien.En dat op Bali!Genoten van de wandelingen en de rust. Met Putu naar de waterval was geweldig. En dan het eten, Mega is echt een hele goede kok , ik ben vaak op Bali geweest maar zij is een klasse apart, dus zeker diner bij boeken!!! Hopelijk komen we hier ooit terug. En verblijf er wat langer! Zo de moeite waard, ook de koffie is top! Lieve groet, Theo & Janet

Het is gewoon zo leuk om onze gasten meer te laten zien van de omgeving, EN de mensen die hier wonen te ontmoeten. Dat is gewoon echt Bali, en daar moet je de tijd voor nemen. Er zijn nog genoeg andere plekjes die we graag willen laten zien, dus we zien er naar uit als jullie nog een keer deze kant op komen!

un lugar excelente para descansar en el centro de Bali, más si se es amante de las aves. ☺ la ubicación en la ladera, con el frontal totalmente abierto, apto para observar las aves. La comida ofrecida fue excelente. La observaciòn de aves también ☹ la carretera de acceso es muy estrecha y complicada

Toine and Mega are such gracious hosts - we loved every minute of our stay on their lush plantation! ☺ It was an absolute joy to stay at Toine and Mega’s. The location is as it’s shown with peaceful, uninterrupted views of the plantation - add in spectacular songbird and the sound of the stream gushing below the property - so relaxing. The tent is beautifully fitted out with coffee/tea set-up and interesting details crafted in bamboo by Toine himself - check out the toilet roll holder in the open air bathroom! Walking through the rice fields and the village with Toine and Mega gave us the opportunity to witness daily life in Bali, not just as tourists but as visitors. Toine and Mega are received with smiles and open arms wherever they go and are doing some amazing work supporting their community. Be sure to book dinner - Mega’s cooking is delicious and all ingredients are local and super fresh! Thank you Toine and Mega!!

хочу сказать вам спасибо за это место. оно про любовь и душу. у вас очень особенная жизнь и очень особенное пространство. центр острова, волшебная природа вокруг, ваш милый дом, большая плантация, собаки, коровы — во всём этом чувствуется настоящесть. домик для гостей — очень уютный и аутентичный. в нём абсолютно всё продумано до мелочей. здесь не хочется ничего менять, добавлять или улучшать — просто быть. утром просыпаешься, завариваешь свежемолотую робусту, выходишь на террасу и просто дышишь. смотришь на виды и наслаждаешься тем спокойствием, которое дарит это место. мы играли в шахматы, читали книги, слушали тишину, гуляли вдоль плантаций. это было очень ценно. отдельно хочу сказать спасибо за еду. завтраки и ужины — невероятные. большое разнообразие, вкус, забота. и особенно ценно, что многие продукты выращены прямо на вашей земле. тепло и уют, которые идут от этого места и от вашей семьи, невозможно передать словами. ощущение, будто тебя укутывают в тёплое махровое одеяло. мне очень хочется, чтобы сюда приезжали люди, которые правда ценят такое времяпрепровождение. это место аутентичное, в нём есть душа. относитесь к нему с уважением и любовью — и тогда оно обязательно обнимет вас своим теплом. спасибо вам за это ощущение! с уважением, Лика и Максим

Amazing place. Awesome for bird photography with 3 hides available. Loved the Forktail hide the most. Food was off the hook! so much and flavour, variety. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend staying her and make sure you get the food package you won't be disappointed. I can't wait to go bak again in the future.

We waren hier 4 heerlijke nachten. Het is een prachtige luxe bamboe/tent met een fantastisch uitzicht vanuit de kamer/balkon en de open badkamer. Bijna alles is van bamboe gemaakt door de Nederlandse eigenaar. Je bent helemaal alleen. De eigenaars wonen er ook. Mega, de vrouw des huises kookt geweldig en zeer gevarieerd. We hadden de beste maaltijden en ontbijten van onze 6-weekse reis door Java en Bali. Het was voor ons een hele mooie en bijzondere ervaring hier te verblijven. We hadden alleen pech met het weer. Het heeft veel geregend. Meestal vanaf 12 uur. Op een gegeven moment voelde onze kleding klam aan. Maar desondanks hadden we ons verblijf niet willen missen.

Eco-friendl glamping in the middle of the nature If you love nature and are curious about the sounds of the forest all daly long, especially in the evening and early morning, then this is the accommodation you should try. The tent is very well equipped, giving you the opportunity to enjoy a comfortable experience close to nature. We spent two nights here with half board. This was the best decision, because we enjoyed the peace and staying far from the noisy civilization. In the mornings we could observe the different species of birds from hideaways built by Toine. Mega enchants us with particularly delicious and healthy dinners from the local sesional ingredients. It was a special experience, we are very grateful to our hosts, Mega and Toine.

Wat een bijzondere plek. Het prachtige uitzicht wat niet ging vervelen, de heerlijke traditionele maaltijden en daarnaast de tent met alle facilititeiten. En als laatst de gastvrijheid van Mega en Toine, en Putu! Hoewel de omgeving mogelijk niet bij het grote publiek bekend is, is er ontzettend veel te doen - en kunnen excursies gefaciliteerd worden! Van harte aanbevolen.
