Fantastic service from planning stages right through to the last minute before the event. An amazing BBQ for a beautiful wedding that was catered for professionally. The food was delicious and varied and the team are amazing too. Would very highly recommend for any occasion. Nothing is too much trouble for them and the costings are superb too.

Port Quin was a stunning spot for a wedding, and running the BBQ in the afternoon and then a buffet in the evening made for a proper day's cooking. We're so glad the food went down well with everyone. Thank you as well for being so easy to work with in the run-up. Having the details settled early is what lets everything run smoothly on the day.

A finger buffet should turn up on time, have plenty for the vegetarians and leave room for cake, so we're glad all three boxes were ticked. We use recyclable trays on purpose, so it's good to know that was noticed too. Whenever you need a buffet delivered around Redruth again, we'd be glad to help.

Carwinion was a beautiful place to spend the day, and we are so pleased the hog roast went down well. The pork is smoked for up to 16 hours in our own kitchen the day before and then carved to order at the wedding, so it is lovely to hear it landed as it should. Pasties and scones in the evening are one of our favourite ways to round off a wedding, and it sounds like your guests agreed.

Being quick to answer matters more than people expect with wedding catering, because there are so many moving parts in the weeks before. Thank you for the recommendation, and whenever you need catering in Cornwall again, we would be glad to look after you.

A celebration buffet for wedding guests is a lovely job to be part of, and we are glad it went down well at the Manor House in Looe. We would always rather there was plenty to go round than have anyone eyeing up an empty platter, so it is good to know nobody went short.

Cooking for 80 live on site at Cullacott Farm was a proper day's work and a thoroughly enjoyable one. There is a real difference between food that turns up and food that is grilled in front of your guests while they stand about with a drink, and it sounds like your lot felt it. Guests raving about the food is the only review that really counts, so hearing that back means a lot to the team.

Weddings are the jobs we care most about getting right, because you only get the one go at it. Any time you need wedding catering or a BBQ anywhere in Cornwall, you know where we are, and we would be glad to feed you again.

We used Salt Wind Catering for a party of 50. We chose to have the hog roast and vegetarian paella plus salads. For dessert we had the chocolate brownies with strawberries and cream. The communication before the event was excellent and on the day the service was perfect. All the food was delicious. Our guests were very impressed and commented on how much they enjoyed their meals. Should we have another party I will know where to come! Many thanks to Mark and his team.

Running the hog roast and the vegetarian paella side by side is our favourite way to feed a crowd of 50. Everything is cooked live in front of your guests, and it means the vegetarians get a proper dish of their own out of the giant pan rather than being handed something apologetic on the side. Glad the salads and the chocolate brownies with strawberries and cream rounded it off.

The kind words about the communication beforehand are appreciated too. Getting the detail nailed down early is most of what makes the day itself run quietly. Thank you for mentioning Mark and the team, and we would genuinely love to do the next one for you.

Your son's wedding had one of the more demanding dietary lists we have worked to, and that was the part we most wanted to get right. Nobody should be handed a plate that feels like an afterthought because of an allergy or a diet, so we built the menu so every guest had something proper of their own rather than whatever was left over. Good to know it read that way from your side, and that there was plenty of it.

Offwell Village Hall was a lovely spot to cook at, and we are always happy to come over the border for wedding catering in Devon. Best wishes to them both, and thank you for trusting us with the day.

We recently used Salt Wind Catering for a party for around 30-40 people and they delivered on everything they promised. The food was delicious, there was way too much (no bad thing!) and it was delivered bang on time and hot. Would definitely recommend and we will use them again.

Hot and bang on time is the whole trick with a delivered BBQ. It is easy enough to cook good food, and considerably harder to have it arrive at 35 people's elbows still properly hot and at the minute you asked for, so it is good to hear it landed that way at St Day.

As for there being too much of it, that is deliberate. We would far rather you were putting leftovers in the fridge than counting sausages. Thank you for the recommendation, and any time you want a BBQ or a hog roast doing, give us a shout.

Saltwind delivered us a buffet on Monday for our wedding. The food was absolutely delicious, everybody loved it. Mark and his team were also brilliant, so easy to deal with and went above and beyond. We had one vegan guest and Mark did a separate portion especially for them. Everything else in the main buffet had stickers in If suitable for vegans. Such a great company I’d recommend 100% without hesitation.

These guys are amazing. The food is so good. So much better than what we expected at the price we paid. Had a buffet yesterday In Newquay. Amazing value for money. The food was so amazing. A 40 people buffet for a wedding and everybody loved it. The quality is so high, and Mark is amazing and really values his customers. Done an extra vegan portion as well without charging extra. Would use them again every time.

Thoroughly recommended Salt Wind Catering they supplied the Global Flavours buffet for my 'divorce celebration/ retirement farewell get together. It was superb. Very generous amounts of everything. All very fresh and beautifully presented. I had a couple who needed guten free and a couple who were vegan/vegetarian both were boxed separately and clearly labeled. I wont hesitate to use them again. I can also vouch for their hog roast it was also very delicious and beautifully cooked.

Saltwind came up to sunny Devon for Jo’s 60th party. Everyone absolutely loved the Hog Roast. We had a party of 55 and we were still finishing off the food at 3am.
