Went in on Friday 13th March around 1pm and the person who served me was really knowledgeable. With a half marathon coming up, he analysed my gait and recommended some shoes that have been perfect from the start. I’ve already done plenty of miles in them and they feel great. Went in today to see if I could get some advice and ultimately buy my first pair of running shoes. I entered with low expectations as I’ve really problematic feet (wide mid foot and narrow heel) and had failed in previous attempts to find the right shoes. The two guys there were absolutely fantastic. I told them the issue I have and they seemed confident they could help me out. They measured my feet and determined my size, had me on the treadmill to determine my gait etc. and sorted me out with a great pair of altra shoes that fit brilliantly. I had almost lost hope in finding a shoe that actually fits my mutant feet so was so happily surprised to be able to walk out with a well fitting pair. I couldn’t recommend The Running Hub highly enough!
Visited The Running Hub today for running shoes for my daughter and myself. James was fantastic and so friendly - he assessed our running styles using a treadmill and video analysis and was incredibly knowledgeable. We felt no pressure at all and ended up buying two pairs of shoes and some running socks. Brilliant service and prices just as good as (if not better than) online. Highly recommended!
My daughter has just purchased a pair of Saucony running shoes. The young man who helped was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and hugely patient. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to purchase a pair of running shoes to visit the shop. Amazing customer service and a huge selection of stock.
Fantastic range of shoes and being able to try them on a treadmill is such a brilliant asset. Came away with a pair of shoes to replace my 12+ year old ones. Was able to try on 3 or 4 different types to really find what I needed and the guy helping is a real credit to the store - very knowledge and patient. Great experience
A week ago I was diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis in my left foot: painful, and I was advised to wear reputable and comfortable trainers. I had walking shoes but not trainers so, living in the sticks, I ordered a well-known brand online from the manufacturer. They were way too tight in spite of being my correct size and there was no facility to discuss this with anyone there. It confirmed what I really knew, which is 'don't buy shoes online'. So yesterday I hunted for a local shop and, although 20 miles away, I phoned The Running Hub. How helpful they were, so I set off to see them.
I was served by Michael. What a treat! He properly measured my feet, had great knowledge (and a good stock) of the various makes of trainer, and was conversant with their individual properties. Equally importantly, he had great empathy with my needs. I am wearing my Karhu trainers now, a new discovery for me, and I love 'em! Thank you!

Absolutely fantastic experience and customer service. I ordered online and due to a technical error on website the trainer I wanted was not available. They apologised and helped me find another trail shoe for me. They then matched the original price of the previous trainer which was cheaper. Outstanding. Will remember their name and buy again from their shop! 😃
Went there yesterday (16/06/24) for new trial shoes. The young man working (on his own) was exceptional. Polite, knowledgeable, and the way he dealt with numerous customers at the same time was fantastic. I've lived in Kent for 3 years now and this was the first time I have experienced this high level of customer service. I have almost become accustomed to rude and/or nonchalant retail staff. Top notch. Well done young man.
A great specialist place to go for trainers and all things running. A great selection of models from a number of brands. Knowledgeable staff who know what they are doing to get you into the right shoe which is a valuable commodity that you won't find at a typical high street retailer. Don't underestimate the value of getting the right advice over getting the cheapest or nicest looking trainer. Vanity can be a fools game!

I cannot say how helpful the team were to guide me to the right shoe for me
There is a process which identifies my gate and from there it was which shoe was the best for me
I cannot recommend the team and store highly enough
