Another great job done by Squibbs I was initially recommended to Squibbs by my neigbours and have previously had them work on my house, so I went straight to them to refurbish my conservatory and render my outside walls. They don't just do a great job, they're a pleasure to have around, always cleared up at the end of each day and I was happy to leave them to it when I had to go out to work or for any other reason. I was especially grateful that they alerted me to a gable end that was clearly in need of attention and was impressed with how quickly the necessary work was carried out.

Old school and very helpful! R Squibb and his team are a great old school type builder that can be trusted to do a great job. I have used them before for work on our current house which they did a fantastic job of. So they where my 1st call when I needed work on a new project they we are going to live in. They did a large garage extension among many other major bits of work. and when ever I have a new idea they worked with me to understand what I was trying to do and priced the work prompt. The advice for all of the ream was good and helpful. but in particular From Chris (Rons Son) and Adam (Rons Brother).

FAST AND PROFFESIONAL After a fire in my mothers back garden which caused a lot of damage and very stressful R Squibb cleared and rebuilt in record time, Workmen were very good and friendly, also trustworthy as considering my mother is 92 and obviously unsure when strangers are about. Did an excellent job and my Mother is very pleased

My neighbour also admired the good quality work and professionalism of Ron Squibbs team We've used Ron Squibb Building Contractors 3 times and each time we have been 100% satisfied with the look and reliability of work and the team. This time we had our patio re done but with added extras: a water storage tank fitted below, a new retaining wall (our garden is about 80cm down from the house) and steps and an used drain removed. We also had the many layers of previous patio removed, so it now lies well below the damp proof course. As a bonus they found and fixed out why we got damp in the house with a lot of rain.

Kitchen refurbishment plus remedial work upstairs Ron and his team have carried out various projects for me over almost 20 years and always produced work of a high quality. The recent kitchen refurbishment plus replacing doors and frames upstairs and redecoration of hall, stair well and landing were also of the usual high quality. Dealing with this firm is a joy because as a client you are never left in the dark about what is happening and if you need clarification on anything it is always forthcoming. Every one involved is always professional and helpful. My go to firm when I want anything major doing to my home because I can trust it.

Total kitchen refurbishment Having been delighted a few years ago with an attic extension and complete refurb of an upstairs bedroom of my chalet bungalow, R Squibb Builders were my first port of call when I needed my kitchen gutting and a complete refurbishment. As before, Adam and Brandon worked diligently throughout in cramped conditions and often in a heatwave! Nothing is too much trouble for them and they cheerfully do their utmost to resolve any problems (not of their doing!) that may arise. Other team members and all sub-contractors were equally hard-working and professional. I cannot praise them all enough!

Repairs to roof felt and tiles. Carry out guttering re-alignment, fit additional down pipe The company arrived on site as booked, we discussed the defect and they detailed the repairs needed. The work was carried out to a high standard, the workers were polite, tidy around the job and completed the repairs in a timely fashion. They left the work area clean and tidy and removed all arisings.

New Conservatory Roof/Doors/Windows Very reliable family run business. Nothing was too much trouble. Fitted a new conservatory roof and windows/doors/gutter and other remedial work around that area. Very polite, friendly, courteous and hard working. Took all the rubbish away at the end of each day and tided/cleaned up. 100% recommend R Squibb. Would definately use them again.

Flat roof replacement and roof lantern installation R Squibb Building Contractors were professional from the start, giving a comprehensive quote and sending the job contract for review. The workmen were polite and worked incredibly quickly and proficiently, and were happy to answer any questions I had. The job involved replacing the flat roof, installing a glass roof lantern, replacing the facias, soffits, and guttering, installing new lights, and plastering the inside of the house. R Squibb's team and the sub-contractors they work with did a fantastic job. Only once the job was complete did we have to pay. This company is the gold standard.

Roof repairs relating to slow water leakage in the house The company made an initial evaluation to see what the cause of the water leakage was. They quickly assessed what the remedial action consisted of and delivered a fair estimate. Work carried out within time and cost allocated and to a very good professional standard. Workmen were very friendly and obviously highly skilled and left the premise very tidy at the end of the work.

Internal walls and doorways We had an internal brick wall put up and doorways blocked and opened, plus new french doors to the rear. The team were very reliable, polite, tidy and happy to accommodate changes/additional work requested. Also a fault with the french doors was resolved professionally and without hesitation. All work was carried out to a good standard. I will be happy to have them undertake more work in the future.

New conservatory roofing and replacement glass in roof lantern. Both Adam and Brandon did the job in a thoroughly professional style. They were both very helpful in explaining the work to us as they went along and also very courteous. They always tidied up after each day's work. Excellent job. I would recommend R. Squibb Builders and I will be asking them again for any future work.
