Rooftop Rooms did a fantastic job on our loft conversion. The bulk of the building work was completed within two months which was greatly appreciated in winter. They gave us lots of good advice throughout the process and were flexible and considerate to the changes we asked for - things like window types and sizes, electrical socket placements, bathroom layout etc. The end result was exactly what we wanted and I would definitely recommend them.

From the outset they gave great advice on party wall agreements and design considerations and provided a clear and concise schedule and weekly updates once the project was underway.

A couple of elements worth highlighting. Firstly, the advice they offered throughout the process from planning through construction was top notch. They made things really clear and transparent gave us great information.
Secondly, the construction itself was great and carried out to a high standard. Mitch and his crew were really good throughout and it went smoothly and surprisingly quickly. All the carpentry, electrics, plumbing etc. was organised well too.
Gary, who was project managing the whole thing, was also really helpful providing us with advice, running through things with us, and getting any snagging done quickly at the end.
Ultimately, they did everything they said they would, on budget, and did it to the timescales they'd set. We're really pleased with the results - couldn't ask for any more! Thank you Rooftop Rooms!

We have used Rooftop Rooms now for the 2nd time to do our loft conversion in Hadley Wood. It was a big, ambitious project that involved removing the whole roof, lifting the gables on each side and creating 3 x huge dormas at the back, and 2 x dormas in the front. They employ all their own tradesmen, who are the nicest builders we have ever met. Most of the employees were still with them from the last time we used them 8 years ago to do our loft conversion in Whetstone, which just show that the company is run by nice people. They are trustworthy and keep their promises. Gary and Colin, the two owners, just does not let you down and are always there to ensure that we were happy. They go out of their way to keep everything on track, and communication was outstanding throughout the 9 month project. Yes, things can go wrong, but they just on it straight away and sort it out - no questions asked and no quibbles.

With a professional background in construction design myself, I can highly recommend Rooftop Rooms. The whole process from quote through to completion was well managed, workmanship was top level and undertaken in a timely manner. RTRs converted our loft into a new bedroom, shower room, storage room. They also constructed some in-built wardrobes for us. At the start we worked with RTRs in house designer to agree upon our layout and continued to refine our requirements up until they started on site. All "extras" outside of the base quotation were discussed and costed before we made our final decision whether to proceed or not. We are very happy with the finished product and can't thank RTRs enough for the very professional service they provided!

I wholeheartedly recommend Rooftop Rooms after just having had a loft conversion and new roof done with them. After hearing so many horror stories of friends' encounters with builders not turning up (and worse), RTR were able to provide absolute piece of mind and have completed a fantastic job within the expected schedule.
Gary is an experienced project manager who has patiently advised and guided us through the whole process. The trades have been polite, respectable and friendly. A special thanks to Mitch, Luke, Danny with his plumbers and Nick with his plastering team - these guys were phenomenal. The office team are responsive and go out of their way to help. A couple of companies we asked for a quote from said it couldn’t be done due to the pitch of our roof, however Rooftop Rooms were able to find a solution to do it and we are thrilled to now have an extra bedroom for our growing family! The installation teams were professional, tidy and efficient and the pace of the works overall has been great. Roof Top Rooms are just completing our loft conversion. After an initial delay on the start date, which was a worry at the time, they have run to schedule; we are at the snagging stage 10 weeks after building works began. Our main contacts have been Hayley in the office and Gary as project manager. Hayley has been very helpful and Gary obviously has many years experience in loft conversions and is calm, professional and reassuring. Gary also suggested some beneficial changes to the plans which we would not have thought of. The trades teams all ran to time, the dormer structure was built in a few days and the plaster boarding, plastering all followed directly after that. The workers on site have all been polite and helpful. Communication with RTR has been good, whether I'm phoning or emailing the office, or calling or texting Gary, I have always received a prompt response. RTR also organised some additional work we needed doing on the property, which was completed seamlessly alongside the loft project.
We used RTR on the recommendation of a work colleague who was very pleased with them. They weren't the cheapest quote we sourced but we felt they were a safe choice. We also liked the fact they had a price list of commonly requested extras and provided a budget planner to customers; although on one or two smaller things we have felt that the costs could have been absorbed within the existing work.
The loft and en suite look fantastic, we can’t wait to start using the space. We would use RTR again ourselves and would recommend them to friends.

Very open and honest, with a clear indication of additional costs should we want to tweak the design of the loft from the initial brief, which of course we did as the project evolved.
