We couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos and can’t thank Rónan enough for capturing the day so beautifully. We first discovered his work on Instagram and instantly loved his natural, candid style. From the very beginning he was an absolute pleasure to deal with – he even spent over an hour with us before the wedding walking through the timeline and sharing tips to help the day run smoothly. Honestly, he was as much a wedding coordinator as he was a photographer keeping us on track with timing! Our families and friends are still talking about how wonderful Rónan was on the day. He went out of his way to make everyone feel comfortable, not just us, and it really shines through in the photos. We were blown away to receive our sneak peek album on the very first day of our honeymoon, it was the perfect start to the trip. The full album followed soon after, and now the only challenge is deciding which photos to frame because we love them all. We couldn’t recommend Rónan more highly!

Ronan photographed our wedding on 18th October and we could not be happier with the photos. Ronan is so kind and personable - he really put everyone at ease on the day and captured all the special moments perfectly. The photos are fantastic - the lighting on the day was very tricky but Ronan had no issues capturing everything. The shot in the dark was a real highlight for us too. Thanks a million Ronan!

When planning a wedding, you have to make a thousand different decisions and it can be a little overwhelming. If you’ve come to find yourself reading this review, congratulations, you’ve found Rónan! After marrying your spouse, this will be the best decision you’ll ever make. As you can see for yourself, Rónan’s photos are amazing, but let me tell you about the benefits of choosing Rónan that go beyond the photos. Something that we perhaps hadn’t considered is that after your spouse, the person who will be with you for every moment of your day, is your photographer. Rónan was such a friendly, calming presence and we never felt like there was a camera in our face however looking at our photos now, he seems to have captured every candid moment. The morning of your wedding needs a lot of coordinating and the last thing you want is to be roaring at the lads to get their suits on, or hurrying on your hair lady. Ronan quietly conducted the whole orchestra of the morning and kept everyone on track. As a two bride wedding, some had advised us that we may need two photographers to capture all those special bridal moments of the morning but I can promise you that you don’t need two photographers if you have one Rónan. Both bridal parties got ready separately and somehow Rónan managed to be in two places at once and we both have ample photos of all the important steps of that morning. In addition to his peerless professionalism and experience, what sets Rónan apart from the others is his shot in the dark. The photo itself is our favourite from the day, but actually posing for that photo is my personal highlight of the whole wedding. It was so lovely to have a little moment to ourselves that evening and I’ll treasure that memory and that photo forever. Huge credit to Rónan, who didn’t complain once about having to wait to do a shot in the dark on the longest day of the year. In summary, look no further, you’ve found the guy. He’s the one. We honestly could not recommend Ronan enough. We originally had Ronan as our wedding photographer ten yrs ago and he has since done many friends' weddings. We recently had the pleasure of Ronan do informal photos of our family. The kids loved Ronan, and everyone felt relaxed during the photoshoot. Ronan obliged with any requests we had, there were a few, and he willing done them. The end result is fantastic and we look forward to Ronan doing more photos for us over the years. Thanks again 😁

We found Ronan through an Instagram photo of a wedding at Waterford Castle (the power of tags on social media...), and we were immediately drawn to his photographic style. After a quick email exchange and phone call, we very quickly knew we'd made the right choice of photographer for our wedding. From the first meeting Ronan put us immediately at ease. His shooting revolves around "capturing the moment" which is the vibe we were after and precisely what Ronan delivered. And his unique A Shot In The Dark is tailored to each person and we are blown away with the results he presented for our day. Ronan is very easy to work with, both before and on a wedding day, very well organised, and we cannot praise him enough for the amazing photos he has captured for our special day. Very very highly recommended.

Ronan was a consummate professional and exactly what we were hoping for in a photographer. We wanted someone that we could have a laugh with to give the photos a more candid feel and reduce some of the tedium involved in taking pictures. Ronan put us at ease and planned the photos carefully in order to minimise their impact on our day. We found him to be a pleasure to have around, and so did our family and friends. Not only were we thrilled with the photos, but we were very impressed with how quickly they arrived. We appreciated his guidance as a seasoned photographer in helping us to structure the day. Can ony add to other comments on here about Rónan. He was recommended to us from some freinds who showed us their pics, and he did not dissapoint on our Day. He arrived to the madhouse that was our aparment on the morning of the wedding and took magical photos that really captured what went on, including things that didnt seem important until looking back in the following days and weeks. His advice and experience from similar sized weddings and venues was invaluable in helping us work out timings and expectations not just for our photo session but for all parts of the day. Rónan was absolutely fantastic as our wedding photographer! We knew this back in 2020 when he photographed my sister's wedding so when our time came around, there was only 1 man for the job! Rónan captured our day so well including moments that we would never have seen without him. He has such an eye for detail! He even took some extra special photos adjusting the lighting indoors since it was raining and we couldn't take many photos outdoors - Rónan went above and beyond for us! He made sure we spent minimal time having photos taken and maximum time celebrating with our guests - talented and efficient! He is an absolute gent and was a pleasure to have as part of our wedding day! Rónan's support and guidance throughout the planning process was excellent e.g. to decide timings and plan for every eventuality. Anytime we had a query, Rónan was straight back with a clear and detailed answer. He arranged a call with us the week before our wedding to run through everything which was so appreciated and made sure that everything ran smoothly on the day! We received a sneak preview just a few days later including a slideshow to music which was a lovely touch and allowed us to re-live it all straight away. Rónan was fantastic from when we booked him. He was organised and responsive to messages and gave really good advice in the lead up to the day about the timing of the ceremony and dinner bell. We had a zoom call before the wedding and he completely put us at ease. On the day he was excellent. The whole day flowed really well but you also barely noticed if he was there. We got a sneak peak of the photos in a few days and all the photos within a few weeks. We are delighted with how they turned out. There are some lovely ones of young niece and nephew which would not have been easy to capture! Would definitely recommend Rónan to any couple getting married.

His ability to fit in with us all so easily was exceptional and made us all so comfortable throughout the day. We received a sneak peek at our photos within days of our wedding and were blown away. Rónan photographed our wedding in October 2022, and as a couple who usually do not like posing for photos, we knew we were in good hands from the first meeting with him. On the day, his professional yet laid-back manner put us completely at ease, and thanks to his great eye we got so many creative and striking shots and set-ups. However, his biggest skill of all was being able to disappear into the crowd to capture us and our guests at their most natural, which is just what we wanted. We received a huge folder of ‘sneak peak’ photos just days after the wedding, and the entire set just a few weeks later, all of which are absolutely stunning. Really can’t recommend him highly enough!

5 stars for Ronan! We could not recommend him highly enough. He photographed our wedding in May, such a lovely relaxed manner and good craic! The quality and range of our photographs is superb, he really captured all the stories of the day that the bride and groom don't always get to see, which is wonderful. We received our albums and the quality is outstanding, absolutely stunning and so well laid out. He came recommended to us and I can see why. We hired Rónan for our 2020 wedding, rescheduled him twice and finally had our day on Sept 24th 2022. He was fantastic to deal with throughout. Very clear communication so we knew exactly what to expect. He was incredibly non invasive on the day and took some beautiful shots of everyone just being. Our favourite photos from the day are the ones he caught of being enjoying themselves. He was particularly fantastic with all of the children in the wedding and got absolutely beautiful shots of them. We are so delighted with our beautiful photos.

I can without a doubt say that booking Rónan for our wedding was the best decision I ever made! The photos he captured were absolutely breathtaking and he does it with such ease and a great sense of humour. He manages to somehow hide himself away so you don't even notice him taking the photos and I was genuinely surprised to see that he had managed to snap some moments that I wasn't aware he was even there for. He has given us such unbelievable memories of the day to look back over and we will be forever grateful. Rónan was the photographer for our wedding at Langtons Kilkenny in May 2022. We honestly could not have asked for a better photographer than Rónan. He was friendly, fun, and helpful to have around all day - whilst remaining professional and focused as well! In the morning, he was a pleasure to have around, and even helped our groomsmen with their cufflinks and button holes, to make sure that everyone looked perfect on the day! Rónan has an incredible eye, and as well as delivering the key photos that we knew we wanted, he also captured so many amazing candid and unexpected moments that have made our album that bit more special. A lot of the spaces in our venue were inside with limited or no natural light, and Rónan was amazing at making these spaces look so well-lit! Some of our favourite photos were taken with cool and interesting lighting that Rónan set up himself. He made sure that he delivered all of this whilst keeping us feeling comfortable and at ease, so that we are always happy and smiling in each of the photos. Rónan really works to match the couple and the venue, which is exactly what you need from a wedding photographer. All of our family & friends loved him as much as we did. We've received the first look at our photos for the day, and we cannot believe how amazing they are!! Thanks again Rónan!
