This will be the second time I have used Rollings Renewables for Tesla Powerwalls and a solar panel array. They have been great throughout and dealt with what was a fairly complex installation, that also required some groundworks. I would recommend them any time and will be ordering a third expansion in the near future.

Been thinking about having Solar Panels for some time. Then the neighbour soured me on so I contacted Rolling Renewables. The initial visit was pretty straightforward and a date was agreed for installation. the process is actually quite simple, although our roof tiles were not the simplest to fit to. Having said that Paul and his team took every tiny challenge in their stride and fitted the panels in such a way they are hardly noticeable as you approach the house. Every man in the team were respectful, pleasant. and clearly proud of the work they do. The after service also appears second to none. It doesn't feel as if anything will phase this crew. If it needs doing its fun. our biggest challenge is to slightly modify our way of using energy to match the solar generation and battery use. To be fair thats not a bad thing. we'd clearly got in to not so ideal habits. Thank you Rolling Renewables for all you have done.

After speaking to several providers and being sent quotes, Rollings really stood out from the crowd. Paul was very knowledgeable and I felt no pressure sales at any point. Importantly, Paul listened to what we wanted and came up with proposals to suit us. Installation took place in early October, the work was exceptionally neat and I've been really pleased with my set up of 25 panels, Powerwall 3 and Zappi charger. I've also been grateful to receive some after sales support with one or two queries from Corey and all of the documents relating to the install were quickly produced and received. I've no hesitation in recommending Rollings, proof a local family run provider can and do trump the bigger national outfits!

We had a GivEnergy AIO, Solis inverter, 20 solar panels plus a GivEnergy EVC installed by Rollings Renewables. Quote and project management was done with friendly efficiency by Corey. All the work was to a high standard and very tidy. There are no cables showing at all in the house. It's all routed and hidden in the loft. The scaffolding was also done well with a good team. The price was very competitive and the system has been performing very well. I'm very pleased with it and would highly recommend Rollings Renewables.

Having done considerable research on Solar and invited several companies to quote for supplying and installing we chose Rawlings Renewables. Contacted Cory in their sales dept. who came over and gave a quote. Cory was extremely knowledgable about the product and answered my whole list of technical questions. Rawlings offered the very latest Hyundai/Tesla equipment and as a small family firm offering supurb service we decided to go with them. They certainly didn't disappoint, the install was done at the scheduled time, the quality of instalation was first class, the two guys who did the install left the site very clean and tidy and explained how to use the system in great detail. The whole process from initial quote to install and commission was seamless and I cant recommend Rawlings and their staff highly enough, they were superb. 11/10

I had a consumer board upgrade, heat pump with hot water tank and battery storage installed and then invited them back to install an EV charger. Aside from a few teething problems with the particular battery storage, which was due to the manufacturer and which Rollings Renewables made extra site visits to assist with, all went smoothly! Friendly, professional and I would certainly recommend them.

Fantastic service and a great job. Paul was proactive, kept me informed and took me through every step of the fitting. No mess and the fitting was perfect. Thoroughly recommended.

Very professional team from quotation through installation to user experience. Would recommend a quote from Rollings before you go ahead and have a Solar PV and battery install as you will be in safe hands and they deliver what they say on the tin in my experience.

10/10 on the install of my Zappi charger, cleaned and tidied as they went along. Spoke to Paul about replacing my dumb older ev charger which I planned to swap to a Zappi at a later date but trying to arrange getting that done sooner as planned

The installation team turned up on time, worked very efficiently & cleanly, & completed the whole job in 2 days as planned. Fantastic service. I've had a solar system fitted twice on two different houses so I know a bit more than some and Rollings Renewables are both competitive on price and offer excellent after installation support. The quality of the workmanship can clearly been seen on the installation in my current house. The installation team were very helpful and cleared up after themselves, I was earning money within a couple of weeks and will be pretty much self sufficient for most of the year except the darkest winter months of the year.

A Renewable Rollercoaster: My Experience with Rolling Renewables While I don't doubt the credibility of many of the reviews I've read about Rollings Renewables, none of the reviews align with my own experience of this company. Therefore, I feel inclined to share my perspective At the outset, Rolling Renewables seemed like a dream come true. Quick to respond, they conducted a site survey and whipped up a quote faster than you can say "solar panels." With all my research and a clear vision of what I wanted and where I wanted it, I thought this was a match made in eco-heaven. I had sourced my own kit and simply needed Rolling Renewables to handle the installation and the all-important MCS paperwork to enable me to export excess electricity back to the grid. The Red Flags Begin to Wave The first red flags fluttered in the wind during the installation. There were a few critical elements of the install that the staff failed to clarify with me. I put in extra effort to keep things moving, thinking it was a small hiccup. In hindsight, had I known then what I know now, I would have drawn a line in the sand and gone with a different installer. Communication Breakdown The installation kicked off in late April and wrapped up in early May. Another communication issue reared its head regarding my GSE in-roof mounting system. They didn’t update me on this until I chased them down several weeks later, asking when the install would be completed. The upsetting part? They didn’t just fail to tell me the issue—they somehow made it feel like it was my fault. The Installation Team to the Rescue Kudos to the installation team—they were brilliant. They completed their part efficiently. However, when I called about the MCS paperwork, I was told they were too busy with an upcoming exhibition. It felt like they had taken my money and now couldn’t be bothered. I followed up again a couple of weeks later and was met with a slew of implausible excuses for the delay. Stuck in Solar Limbo It's been three months since the installation, and my DNO is still waiting for commissioning paperwork—something that should have been completed on the day of the install. Oddly, the paperwork was dated a month after the actual installation. All I want is an export MPAN, but they can’t seem to be bothered. Meanwhile, I’m pushing approximately 25-30 kWh per day back to the grid without getting any rebate because the office team is too busy. The Final Straw My contention is that paperwork is part of the installation and should be treated with the same importance so customers can move forward. It’s a process, albeit complex, but essential. Now, I find myself caught in a void, going round in circles with a company that makes promises they don’t deliver on. If you’re considering Rolling Renewables, be prepared for a ride—a renewable rollercoaster that might leave you wishing you had taken a different path.

Great experience with Rollings. Paul visited our property to do a planning inspection and they provided us with quotes for various options. Luke who came and did the installation was a lovely guy and he did a fantastic job hiding the cablings under the edge of the render on our house. Would recommend.

A friend recommended Rollings Renewables after their installation as I was a little unsure about investing in solar panels and battery. However, from my first meeting with Paul I was totally reassured I was doing the right thing to have solar energy. There was absolutely no pressure sales given, Paul talked me through the whole process and we discussed the right solution for us. After a couple of meetings we agreed on a solution, number of solar panels, battery etc. we were given great professional advise and service. The installation took a couple of days and the installer's were top guys too. They advised me at every stage what was being done and discussed where they where putting cables etc to be sure I was happy. I am so pleased with our solar system, we made the right choice going with Rollings Renewables who are a family business. I would highly recommend their services and solar energy. Rollings Renewables installed an EV charger at my home. After being let down by the service offered by one of the big name brands, it was a breath of fresh air to work with Rollings. The installer got in touch to provide an ETA. They were fantastic professionals upon arrival - taking on board my request for where the charger should be situated as well as checking I was happy with the wiring ahead of full installation. The engineer also worked with me to ensure the power went off at an appropriate time as I was on meetings at the time. It was great to work with Rollings and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you!
