Roadway Moving made our LA → NYC move way easier than I expected. The whole process felt calm and organized from start to finish, which is saying a lot for a cross country move. The team was super communicative, showed up exactly when they said they would, and handled everything with care.
Nothing arrived damaged, nothing went missing, and there were no weird surprises. The crew was efficient, friendly, and clearly knew what they were doing. It took a huge amount of stress off an already big transition. I’d 100% use Roadway again and recommend them to anyone moving to or from New York.
The best moving company I have ever used. I used them twice now. And I cannot imagine moving without them ever again. They are not just movers, they are true magicians and transform a stressful day into pure easiness and smoothness. And Osvaldo and his team are truly the best. Love them forever. I am so grateful for them and their professionalism.
The experience was so seamless and incredible. A huge team of people came by my apartment, and my gf's apartment, and within a few hours both of our apartments were packed up and after the day everything was in our new place safe and sound. I truly can't imagine moving any other way!!!
I had the pleasure of working with roadway movers for my most recent move. They were not only efficient and careful, but they were also extremely kind. They showed up exactly on time and were able to move everything to the new space within 3 hours. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure that the space was free from any damages. I expressed my concerns with specific furniture pieces and items and they took the time to listen and make sure everything was delivered during the move carefully. I really appreciated all the care that went to my furniture and all my plants. I was a little concerned about having 5 flights of stairs at my new apartment, but the team was able to bring up everything with no issues. Extremely hard working crew and really thankful for them.
Great experience with roadway team. They moved my 3 bedroom with about 150 boxes locally. Kyle was very accessible with any questions I had. All paperwork properly filled and turned around. Rate was exactly as quoted...even checked to make sure before they came if anything changed. Jurgen was constantly in contact ready to schedule the move and dispatch a team at the very last minute as my 2 buildings had move windows to coordinate last minute. And Carlos and his crew were careful and swift. I will use them again when I need to do another move in 6 months.

The whole process is organized and clear communication at every stop - I needed multiple proposals as my move needs changed a few times - Ruslan just updated the proposal and emailed it right way - no fuss . Price was very reasonable - and their whole system is automated .
The actual movers were fantastic - led by Jose they were polite efficient and went the extra mile to transport and reassemble a tricky and heavy glass table.
Highly recommend Roadway - this was by far the best NYC move I’ve had .

Roadway handled our LA-to-NY move so smoothly that it almost didn’t feel like a cross-country relocation. My roommates and I weren’t even in Los Angeles to supervise — we had a friend unlock our storage unit for them — and Roadway took care of the rest with zero stress on our end.
Our belongings arrived in New York surprisingly fast, and the delivery team was incredible. They carried everything up, unboxed it, and placed each item exactly where we wanted it in the new apartment. They were efficient, careful, and super friendly the entire time.
If you need a move done right without hovering over the whole process, Roadway is absolutely the company to trust. Highly recommend!

Nice movers when you are only moving boxes
However all my furnitures they moved are now wobbly or dented and I need to request extra service from each vendor I bought them from, which might cost more/not even possible.
Do not use them if you have furnitures that need to be broken down and re-assembled. Their liability insurance doesn’t cover anything, possibly an ikea drawer.

Moving is always something I dread, especially living in New York City. Roadway has changed that for me completely. I had 2 of the nicest, sweetest guys help me move and I have never seen people work so efficiently while doing an amazing job and taking care of all of my belongings. They packed all my boxes for me and unpacked my hanging clothes at my new place so I barely had to do anything. They carefully taped screws that were needed for my TV's and Mirror so they could easily be re-mounted at my new spot. I absolutely love Roadway and won't be using another moving company again!

I am unbelievably impressed! Moving is always stressful, but they handled literally everything. They wrapped it, protected it, moved it to the right rooms, and even rearranged if I needed it. They protected my floors, which I was most worried about, and kept everything safe. I would definitely use them again!!

I’m writing this review because my experience with Roadway Moving in NY, and especially with their representative Danny Abehssera, was extraordinary. I rarely write reviews, and I only do so when a company shows a level of professionalism, honesty, and care that stands out. Roadway did exactly that.Before choosing them, I looked into several companies. One in particular advertised an impressive “white glove” service, but after multiple conversations I discovered that many of their claims didn’t hold up. Their “wood crates” were actually cardboard boxes made from cut-up packing materials, and their “secure overnight facility” turned out to be a motel. That was enough for me to step away.Roadway was different from the very beginning. Their reputation and the way they handle feedback gave me confidence, but it was my interaction with Danny that truly set them apart. During the virtual walkthrough, he addressed my concerns with a level of openness I hadn’t seen elsewhere. He explained exactly what my move required, including a temporary stop, and immediately gave me the address of the secure warehouse. I verified the information myself and appreciated the transparency.What impressed me even more was Danny’s sensitivity to the circumstances I was dealing with at the time. Without me needing to explain much, he understood that this move required not just logistics but care and steadiness. He assigned a highly skilled packing team normally reserved for complex or high-profile moves, and it made a tremendous difference.Danny reviewed every item in advance, sent a detailed follow-up, and responded quickly to every email. And there were many. During both packing and delivery, he stayed available and checked in to make sure everything went smoothly. The level of attention he provided was far beyond what I have experienced with any moving company.The packing team he selected was outstanding. They treated my belongings with real precision and used an electronic inventory system that gave me confidence that everything was tracked and secure. Once everything was loaded, every item was accounted for, and not a single thing arrived damaged or misplaced.Moving can be stressful and unpredictable, but my experience with Roadway, under Danny’s guidance, was the complete opposite. It was organized, honest, calm, and far more considerate than I expected. I recommend Roadway Moving wholeheartedly.

We had such an amazing experience with Roadway Moving! They made our move so easy and completely stress-free. We were moving from Connecticut to Pennsylvania and they packed up our entire place, moved all of our big furniture, and handled everything with so much care. They even packed and unpacked our whole closet, which was a huge help.
All of the movers were so friendly and kind. They packed up our apartment in about an hour, then drove to Pennsylvania and unpacked everything and put it exactly where we wanted it. We’ve moved several times and this was by far the easiest and most stress-free move we’ve ever had.
Can’t recommend them enough!
