We had an amazing experience with Ridgeside K9 Eastern Carolina, especially working with George. He did an incredible job training our husky, Blu — and if you know huskies, you know they can be stubborn and full of energy! George was patient, knowledgeable, and truly understood Blu’s personality. He helped us learn how to communicate with him better, and the difference in Blu’s behavior has been unbelievable. Blu came home more focused, better behaved, and still his fun, happy self. We are so grateful for the time, dedication, and passion George put into his training. When I had an issue with my 2 dogs getting in a fight, I called Ridgeside K9. My dog was trained by George and he was phenomenal. I learned so much as well as my dog. He sent daily updates and photos and was always available when I had a question. He took the time at the end of training to make sure I had all the needed tools to be successful. I am so thankful and would highly recommend them to anyone with a dog.

Autumn enjoyed her 3 weeks and really learned so much , social behavior's was important to me because we are out in public a lot and shes doing very well . She can heel, place , sit , lay down, come and stay at six months. She came home a work in progress and is still doing well .

I have a 7 year old wire fix terrier who I created some bad habits in her by unknowingly reinforcing these behaviors. It got to the point that the jumping, barking, bad walking habits, biting and growling were getting out of had. I chose Ridgeside K9 because I knew I wasn't going to be the person to break my dog (Minka) habits properly. Abby was the assigned trainer for Minka. Abby is so sweet and was very thorough with Minkas training. Just as important, Abby, took her time and explained Minkas training, and stayed with me until I felt comfortable performing tasks Minka had learned. I loved the progress videos and photos she sent every evening. I was absolutely amazed by the changes in Minka when she came back home. Thank you Abby for your wonderful work with Minka. If your dog needs training I strongly recommend Abby and Ridgeside K9.

We just welcomed our dog Cooper home after a 3-week stay with Rob for obedience training and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results! Cooper went in needing some serious help with manners and basic obedience, and he’s come back a much more confident, responsive, and well behaved dog Rob put in the time, patience, and consistency Cooper needed. From leash walking to listening to commands, the difference is night and day. What’s even better is how smoothly Cooper is transitioning back into our home routine he’s calmer, more focused, and eager to please. We’re so grateful for Rob’s expertise and care. We were extremely happy. Jada is a 7 year old dog taken from her owner that we got through Craven Pimlico shelter. George was a great trainer with Riverside K9 Eastern Carolina Dog Training. Jada is doing very well after her stay with him and we’re very happy with Jada’s behavior now.

We sent our dog to Ridgeside’s 3-week board and train program, and the results have been incredible. I’ll admit, I was nervous about being away from him that long, but our trainer, Patrick, completely eased our worries with daily check-ins including pictures and updates. It was clear how much he genuinely cared about our dog. Those check-ins helped us feel connected and confident throughout the entire process. Before training, we were struggling with leash pulling, reactivity on walks, etc., but now our dog is calmer, listens well, and is so much easier to handle. What Patrick was able to accomplish in just three short weeks is amazing! The company also gives you videos, training materials, and helpful guidelines, which is making it easy for us to keep the training going at home. We are beyond grateful to Patrick for the love, patience, and dedication he showed. This experience truly changed our dog - and us - for the better. I highly recommend Ridgeside. Best decision ever.

Ridgeside K9 did a 3 week training and boarding giveaway and we were lucky enough to be picked as the winner! Abby was our dog’s trainer and she did an amazing job. We received photos and videos everyday to see how much progress Bojangles was making. She took him on field trips to the park and stores. She even came to our house for pick up, drop off, and took him to the groomer! His door manners, recall, and being able to go on walks with distractions has improved significantly. The difference in him is remarkable. For his graduation she thoroughly went over everything he had learned and had me practice working with him so I’d feel confident continuing his training. I cannot recommend this program enough-Shannon and Lacey were fantastic!!!!! I have a senior pitty mix who is deaf and has resource guarding/aggression issues. The goal was to get him trained up enough so he could coexist with my boyfriend’s dog since we moved in together. They kept me updated daily and worked some magic with Macho Man! We now have a way to communicate with our deaf boy and he actually listens to his momma for direction. The pups can coexist now-they even play together! Shannon and Lacey were so awesome. They really cared about our pup and put their heart and soul into their work. Thank you!

Abby had my puppy for the 10 day puppy training. Communication was great. I got texts and videos daily. She did a wonderful job and my puppy is now potty trained, crate trained, and overall much better with her manners and listening. Abby even took her on a couple field trips. I’ve had questions since she’s been home and Abby is very responsive. I highly recommend Ridgeside K9 for your dog training needs. I’m looking forward to seeing what progress my puppy makes after her next session with Abby.

My dog Mattie was trained by George who had done a great job getting our pup under control. We selected the 3 week program for her and what a difference when he came to do a turnover with her and drop her off. I really did not think she would respond well to the training but she did amazingly enough. So I say thank you to George and Ridgeside K 9 for a great job.

George is an amazing trainer that has done amazing things with my Willow! Willow is stubborn and was not used to being around many people and needed behavior modification. George did a great job holding my boy accountable and really working on his recall, manners, and overall impulse control!
