Riverside Retreat was an exceptional location for our recent stay! The Airbnb was exactly as described! It was amazingly well stocked with anything you could need! This was the perfect spot for a group of friends to get together for a weekend away! Would definitely recommend this spot and would re-book here☺️The hosts were very responsive and helpful!
This is our third stay at this wonderful property. It is truelly the most perfect blend of relaxation and luxury on a gorgeous waterfront setting. The hosts have thought of everything you can possibly need to have an amazing stay. We will most certainly be back for visit four.

We visited Julie’s place to celebrate my daughter’s 2nd birthday, and what a beautiful experience it was.We had fallen in love with the location through pictures—but the real place was even more stunning. From the entrance with its gorgeous lights to the home itself, every corner felt warm and welcoming. And the river… it truly had our hearts.Every detail in the house was so thoughtfully done—from each bedroom to the cozy fireplace. My absolute favorite spot was the kitchen—fully equipped with high-end appliances, pots, pans, and even spices. It genuinely felt like home.What made it even more special were the personal touches—a little setup with a jar of honey, soft toys, and cup holders. It was clear how much care had gone into making guests feel comfortable.Julie and Mark were wonderful hosts, and this stay meant so much to us. Cottage and location was perfect for a quiet family get together. The wood fire place in the living room was particularly enjoyable as the late winter weather made it difficult to fully enjoy the outside property. Host was informative and offered early checkin due to the freezing rain conditions. Highly recommend and would return if we were to book again.

This was our second stay at this gorgeous home. When you've stayed somewhere before, you remember how much you liked it, but I wasn't prepared for was the actual physical reaction of feeling...ahhh, NOW I CAN TAKE A DEEP BREATH, when we walked in the door again. As before, this host has thought of literally every single thing you could ever want. New since we were there last, in the primary bedroom was all-in-one chargers on both bedsides that charge phones, watches and earbuds. Its those little things that make a stay incredible. What we appreciate so much about Julie and Mike as hosts, is its clear they are constantly thinking about what they can do, or add to enhance their guests experience even more. So just when you think it was perfect, it continues to get better. Do yourself a favor and just book this property. I promise you, you will be glad you did. Ok, now to check our calendar to plan visit number three!!

We stayed here traveling from Halifax, NS, for an anniversary and birthday celebration. The peaceful setting was exactly what we needed. We loved watching the snow fall, with the backdrop of the river and beautiful lights, relaxing, and all the games in the cottage kept our son happily occupied. Being able to bring our dogs was amazing, and they had a blast playing in the snow. We really enjoyed cooking in the well‑equipped kitchen, and the property is immaculate with every detail covered; it truly exceeded our expectations. Julie is the most incredible and thoughtful host. For future guests, we highly recommend Cook Nook Bakery in Richibucto, the Kouchibouguac hiking trails, and Cap Lumière Beach. We have already booked to return and cannot wait to stay again.

We had an amazing stay! Our group of six girls spent most of our time gathered around the kitchen table playing board games, all while enjoying the beautiful river view. The cozy living room and the outdoor screened porch with a fireplace made it the perfect place to relax and unwind.The cabin was spacious, spotless, and very well organized. We loved our stay at Riverside Lodge. We were welcomed with thoughtful gifts and the hospitality felt very personal! Any time we had questions, Julie and Mike were always there to answer. The peacefulness, attention to detail of this Airbnb deserves a 5 star! The hosts were very flexible and our stay felt so easy, the place was cozy, with fireplace, inside, on the nice screened deck and as well as a firepit by the river. Very spacious, well decorated and so clean! We will go back, a true gem of a place for our family! Just what we needed during our March Break vacation ❤️🥰
