So - 2 years later (2026)... Project #2... We're so happy with the rock wall, we decided we'd like that same look in another area near there. (The two are on different levels of a space we're trying to develop to make attractive as well as useful). In addition, Ryan and Jacob built an area to step down to the lower level and faced it with rocks as well. They brought in crushed rock to cover an area that we had covered with heavy-duty landscape fabric, as it will be an area for raised beds with walkways in between. They took time to fill in an area with topsoil and rake it out in such a way that the grade was what I had in mind, and yet, at the same time, was good for drainage in that area. They also cut in (excavated) and filled an area with the same crushed rock to make a lovely winding path through an ornamental garden area. I love it. Everything looks so great. They were here a day and a half, and once again, were tidy and have pride in their workmanship. They are personable, prompt, helpful with advice when asked, and reasonable in their pricing. Great job. Highly recommend. Previous job (2024)... Ryan and his guys, Jake & Brandon, did such a great job here. We had (for them) a smaller project, but for us, it was big, and an incredible blessing. We were quoted an excellent price and didn't have to wait months for them to begin - they were here in DAYS...started early and completed everything in a day. Ryan several times, paused to ask about details and our preferences - they really care about excellence and making sure that the client is happy with how things are done. They were tidy and didn't leave a big mess. We, and our project, were treated with respect. They know what they're doing and did an excellent job here - preparing a large level area for a large raised bed garden project; constructing a really good-looking rock wall; grading our driveway and putting gravel in; grading and preparing a parking area; removing concrete from previous projects...they also did things by hand that called for more fine, finishing work. On top of all that, all 3 of them were pleasant and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend R&H Tractor Services.

My property had water pooling in the backyard with some infiltration into the basement. Ryan did a thorough inspection and determined a drain was needed. His team did an excellent job on installation day. The team was respectful and careful bringing in large equipment. The job was done quickly and looks like it was always there. R&H just completed a French Drain project at my home. I have had water pooling issues since I bought the home and recently had a basement water issue as well. R&H replaced 25+ year old corrugated down spout drains that were not serviceable with PVC and extended the discharge away from my house. They sod cut the areas for trenching and had my lawn looking great again when they were finished. My wife was very happy with Ryan's creative solution to allow her rain barrel to stay in place with the overflow connecting to the downspout drain. The crew was very professional and careful as they navigated marked utilities, our irrigation system and the unmarked cable company line. I highly recommend R&H for your landscape and drainage needs.

Ryan and his crew were great and our new lawn looks great. They cleared trees and brush off about a half acre on our property then graded, built a pad for a barn, and hydro seeded. This added to an existing lawn and has really made the property look great. The work was done quick, on budget, and done right. Couldn’t have asked for more. Will absolutely use them again if another project presents itself.

I was thrilled with the accuracy and speed at which R&H, regraded and compacted the sand around my new home and did the same with the black dirty installed to support the growth grass on the site. This site has had flooding caused by road water for decades, R&H installed a rip-rap lime stone draining that empties through the seawall, which has solved that problem. Ryan suggested adding drainage connection from the gutter down spouts that also drain through the seawall. i could not be happier with the work that R&H tractor Services have preformed!

If you are looking for a no nonsense contractor, Ryan is the man. He came out for inspection of a sump pump drain issue and gave us the options. Then proceeded to advise us on what he would do. We went from rough old gravel driveway with ridiculous potholes to crushed asphalt, and we couldn't be happier with his work. These guys are amazing! I had a huge low spot that turned into a small lake after every rain in my backyard and Ryan went above and beyond from start to finish. He answered all of my calls and questions that I probably annoyed him with, gave advice on what pump to use before they could get out there due to the snow and ground being frozen, he took the time to look at the yard in person and on GPS to find the best spot for the drainage. They ended up putting a dry well with an automatic pump to send the water away, brought in top soil and hydroseed after. The yard already looks 10x better and I am no longer dreading the rain in fact I am now looking forward to it to see his work in action! I highly recommend these guys for any work you might need done, he is professional, skilled and punctual and I highly doubt you will find better work or service anywhere else. Thanks again!
