I had the great privilege of attending a private handgun training session with Stephen and I couldn’t be happier. Stephen truly has a unique gift and passion for teaching. I came into the class with limited firearms experience and left feeling motivated and empowered to practice and learn much more.
The pacing of the session was perfect; Stephen met me where I was at and imparted his knowledge of firearm fundamentals to me with the same level of enthusiasm as I’m sure he has in his more high-level training classes. I can’t recommend Tactical U enough! I came in thinking I had a decent amount of experience with handguns and rifles, but after just one day of training I realized how much I still had to learn. The way he breaks everything down—from firearm safety, control, and handling, all the way to advanced drills and precision shooting—is on another level.
In just the first session, I walked away hitting bullseyes with confidence and feeling completely comfortable with both my rifle and handguns. He also taught me how to properly conceal carry, along with a variety of drills that pushed me to improve quickly.

I had an excellent private class with Steve. We first focused on safety and the operation of the firearm, then moved on to handling and dry fire practice before finishing with live shooting. Steve made safety a priority at all times, which gave me great peace of mind during practice. He is patient, very knowledgeable, and makes you feel comfortable.
