We recently had to have our beloved, 15 year old dog put to rest, but didn't really know what to do, so we called our local vet, Kirrawee Veterinary Clinic. As it was a Sunday, they recommended that we contact Rest Your Paws, as they could come to our home that day. From the moment Bess arrived at our home, we were impressed by her empathy and care for us and "George". Throughout the whole process, Bess was informative and respectful and treated our dog with care and kindness, all the way through until George was laid to rest in her animal hearse. This was a very sad and emotional time for us and our whole family appreciated the care and empathy everyone at Rest Your Paws showed us.
For anyone who loves their pet, I could not recommend this company more highly for when the time to say goodbye comes.

I couldn't recommend this service enough, it was so nice that our Dexter could spend his final moments at home surrounded by his family. Bronte guided us through the process, answered all questions we had and truly helped to alleviate some of the heaviness that comes from losing your best friend.
We couldn't have asked for a more compassionate and beautiful experience when Dr Janet joined us on Friday evening to farewell our beautiful 18.5 year old cat Monty. She was kind, patient, and incredibly gentle, taking the time to listen to our memories of him and never making us feel rushed. Her calm, caring presence made an incredibly difficult day feel peaceful and she handled Monty's final moments with such grace. We will always be grateful for her kindness, and would highly recommend Rest Your Paws as a result.
RYP were incredible as we farewelled our beautiful boy Merlin. Tanya the vet was kind, compassionate and so patient with us. She moved at our pace, explained the process thoroughly, helped us to come to terms with our decision and was gorgeous with our other dog Bruno. The whole thing from start to finish was peaceful and respectful. The booking team were also incredibly professional, caring and supportive. Doing this at home was the best decision ever - a peaceful sleep on his own bed surrounded by his family and after a feast of cheese, cabanossi and cupcakes (supplied by Tanya) was an exit all of us could only dream of.
I lost my boy Sox last month. Rest your paws has been nothing short of amazing during this hard time.
From consultation, organisation, communication throughout process and pick up of my boy - they made it as easy as they could. Their back end support is the reassurance I need to continually use this service.
From my family, thank you RYP Team.
If I could give 6 stars I would. Dr Paula came to our home last night to help us put our fur baby to rest. The little touches (like flowers in the boot and taking him away in a bed instead of a bag) really helped the process feel peaceful and calm and her demeanour helped give us closure. She was an amazingly comforting and compassionate presence and we cannot thank her and Rest Your Paws enough 💙
I cannot thank Rest Your Paws enough for the kindness, compassion and professionalism they showed our family when we said goodbye to our beloved Rottweiler, Vivian.
From the very first phone call, every staff member was caring, understanding and genuinely supportive during one of the hardest moments we have faced. They treated Vivian with dignity and respect and made a heartbreaking experience as peaceful as it could possibly be.
Our veterinarian, Kirsten, was wonderful. She arrived promptly, explained everything gently and gave us all the time we needed. Because of her calm and compassionate approach, Vivian was able to pass away peacefully at home, surrounded by the family who loved her so much.
We will always be grateful for the care shown to both Vivian and our family. If you are facing the difficult decision of saying goodbye to a beloved pet, I would wholeheartedly recommend Rest Your Paws.
