Always a satisfying, grounding meal. Hearth is one of those neighborhood restaurants that I can visit time and time again.
I had the whipped ricotta toast at brunch today and it was heavenly. The service is always very friendly and welcoming.
I do wish there were more vegetarian/pescatarian options though.
I wanted to like Hearth a lot more, but unfortunately a lot of things went wrong during our evening. Food came out very late, some dishes were missed. Quality of food was good, but even for NYC didn’t quite match the price point of the meals. Interior design was very charming.

Exceptional dining experience! I visited Hearth during a business trip to NYC and was immediately drawn by their focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients—you can truly taste the difference. The food was delicious, the atmosphere warm, and the care that goes into every dish really stands out. Can’t wait to come back!
Had not been for years but so happy I returned and will again. The food is healthy (all fish is wild, meat is pasture raised, and heirloom grains are milled onsite) and delicious. This will not be popular with diners looking for eye catching instagram photos but will satisfy and delight anyone who cares about what they eat and how it tastes. And, the wines btg are wonderfully chosen gems. I bought a case of the gruner I ordered and liked so much. Service was also excellent - helpful, kind, and attentive.
Nice cozy restaurant serving European inspired cuisine (mainly Italian). White flake crudo was the highlight of the menu, delicate yet multi layered.
Not topping the charts for atmosphere and service due to loads of noise in the main indoor dining area (is background music really necessary? With a full restaurant everyone was shouting just to talk to each other) and our American wagyu being served cold (maybe because we had many starters that took us some time to finish and steak resting time was slightly optimistic). It was still delicious though.
This restaurant was fantastic. A true feeling of farm-to-table in a cozy, ready for winter kind of way. I started out with a glass of the Primitivo Fatalone, which is a very light, chilled red wine that pairs well with almost everything on the menu. For appetizers, the meatballs and fluke crudo were perfect. To start, I ordered the half chicken, and my girlfriend ordered the pork chop; both were delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.
My boyfriend proposed to me here yesterday! Not only was the dinner and ambience fantastic, but the servers were kind enough to help my now fiancé with the surprise, and took photos and video of us during and after the proposal. We will absolutely be back! Amazing place.

I’ve dined here a few times and the service and quality of food has been outstanding. The decor is warm and welcoming and the staff makes sure you are taken care of. We did the chef’s tasting menu along with the wine pairing and it was absolutely delicious. It is a must try!

I visited Hearth with my mom for Brunch. We both had the Italian breakfast which includes eggs, sausage, and polenta. My mom swapped her polenta for potatoes. We both enjoyed our breakfast. However, my mom didn't enjoy her coffee. She felt it was too watered down. I'm not a coffee drinker so can't opine. The service was very friendly. However, it was slow. The place was not that busy when we arrived but our food did take a while to arrive. Overall, it was a good experience and I would give this restaurant a solid 4 stars.
