Renew Energy/I Love Solar Positive Experience Three members from I Love Solar showed up for the installation. First thing they did was introductions and then proceeded to explain the work/installation to be done. Very clear explanations, questions answered and all concerns addressed. Loren (leader), Kyle & Patrick conducted themselves very professionally demonstrating a thorough & complete knowledge during the whole process of the installation. They also clean up everything after the work was finished to the point that you could not tell they had been here. Another meeting was then have and more questions answered with more information also given. Very much satisfied with the whole process.

BUYER BEWARE - Renew Energy did not pay their roofing subcontractor (Roof Masters) resulting in a mechanic's lien being placed on my home. Renew Energy was paid for their solar panel install but failed to pay their sub. Roof Master made several attempts to collect payment from Renew Energy before placing the mechanic's lien on my home. Twice I was told that Renew Energy had paid Roof Masters only to follow up and be advised that payment had not been received. Although Roof Masters was eventually paid, and the lien released, it had a negative impact to my federal security clearance, my reputation, and is now a permanent part of my clearance file. Robert Blessing (Renew Energy Owner) was aware of this personal impact did not even that the time to contact me directly to apologize for the situation. What started out as positive interaction with Renew Energy has concluded with me being a very disgruntle customer.

Our solar panels were installed today. The process from beginning could not have gone any better. Mr. Small introduced the option and overview. Alex Karasek met w me/us several times. He explained all aspects of the installation, answered all our questions. He has been absolutely spot-on with regard to the whole operation. No surprises which is good. The installers worked efficiently. They cleaned up all discards completely before leaving. I highly recommend Mr. Small, Alex K and the installers to anyone considering solar panels.

If people have no soliciting signs you need to respect their home. Just leave a flyer and walk away. I have two “no soliciting” signs on my door. One specifically says “don’t ring the door bell because the dogs will bark and wake the baby” which is exactly what happened. The sales associates admitting to reading both signs and when I confronted them they immediately went to say we wanted to let me know there will be work trucks parked outside my home. Then they mentioned dominion doing replacements work on stuff and they wanted a meter reading. I assumed because they didn’t introduce themselves or the company they were actually with but also knew about the work dominion did on my house they were legit reps and showed them my meter. When they continued talked I straight up asked them if they were with dominions and said “no we’re a subcontractor but we’re not trying to sell you anything.”

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Jason Duerner in getting my home’s solar system installed. We had attempted to get solar with 5 other solar companies, all of which were unable to resolve the challenge of a neighbors tree that blocked our roof in the later afternoon. I explained this to Jason and he immediately took action on his own accord and engaged the owner. He worked out an arrangement and obtained agreement to take down two trees to clear the path for my system. He is a great communicator, understands the need for prompt and thorough follow up and is very courteous. I highly recommend Jason to others. Bravo to Jason and Renew.
