I was told it would take 6 men and up to 2 hours for the men to move my stand and 400 pound aquarium from my garage to my living room. They quoted $450-$500. It took about 15 minutes for 4 men to move the aquarium and stand. They charged me $450. I was quite pleased with the results. I was never quoted a trip charge or hourly rate so I guess it ended up being what was quoted. $450 an hour, I feel, is a bit steep. However, if everything went as smoothly as this was, it would be a beautiful day.

Just to clarify, Reliable Movers does not charge by the hour. Specialty moves like this are quoted at a flat rate based on the item, crew, equipment, travel, and handling involved. The $450 price was quoted before the move, and fortunately the job went smoothly and was completed quickly.

No company is more aptly named. These movers were RELIABLE from beginning to end. Jen and Mike returned our call and scheduled a walk through within a couple of days. They arrived on time and gave a clear and honest estimate. They gave us a moving date that we requested. Our move was out of state. The crew led by Kevin was punctual and extremely professional. Our property was treated with great care. Everything was wrapped and protected. On the delivery day the men were on time and careful with our belongings. George and Collin were respectful and caring in their work. They took the time to be certain that everything was in the right place and whatever needed to be assembled was done properly. The price quoted was the price charged. There were no surprises. Nothing was lost, scratched or broken. What could have been stressful was easy. RELIABLE Movers are, in fact RELIABLE. If you live in the Syracuse area these are the guys to call. Honest, professional, hard working.

I can’t say enough good things about Reliable Movers. They did an amazing job with our move from start to finish. Our move ended up requiring two trips, and the crew was incredibly patient, professional, and accommodating the entire time. The team was great! We moved about two hours away Clyde-Savannah to Buffalo. It was already a stressful move for us, but they took care of everything and it was a huge relief. They handled all of our large furniture, I didn't have to prep or break down anything. The guys made sure to place everything that was labeled where it had to go and also offered to rearrange things if needed after everything was unloaded. I'm very happy with how everything went!

The team at Reliable Movers did amazing work moving us from house to house in the Manlius area. They arrived ready to go and loaded our belonging fast! They were careful with our large furniture and wrapped it for us. We had a hot tub moved at the same time and the crew worked together and moved it with ease! Our move included loading a house, storage unit, and hot tub and unloading all into our new home. The team had everything done and furniture reassembled in five hours. We were very impressed with the work and the team was so polite and fun to talk to. There is a great bond between the crew members and it is clear that they care about high quality performance and their friendships with one another. We would highly recommend them for any moving you need!
