I love my Regency horse float. I purchased new from Regency itself, having ordered the 2HAL WB Deluxe in February 2026. The wait time was a little longer than expected as it was held up in port due to the war in Iran, before it headed to Windsor in order to be fitted out. Katie and Jo are easy to deal with, friendly and courteous, and were from my first meeting with them in their shop in Windsor when I went there to view what floats they had in stock, and to see what options I had. The float is square nose and the Holden Colorado (3.5 tonne) I use for towing tows it just fine, it remains straight and true on the road and when I had 2 horses on board, having picked them up from the horse breaker, they travelled comfortably and well. All the internals including the bunk, kitchenette, divider and tack box are finished to a high standard.The only issue I had was the pins on the dividers were a bit sticky to get out to begin with but nothing a little WD40 couldn’t fix. It is a lovely float, and the price for what I got was very reasonable.
I couldn’t be happier with my Regency 2 Horse Straight Load Warmblood Float! I bought it sight unseen, so I was a little nervous, but the communication and service were second to none from start to finish.
The float is absolutely beautiful, spacious and so well thought out. I love having the tack box, fridge, microwave, bed and cupboard — it has everything I need for travelling with the horses and makes longer trips so much easier.
The quality has exceeded my expectations, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Regency. So happy with my purchase! 🐴❤️ my horses are 16.2 shire x and this has amazing space in the bays you could fit much bigger horses then mine in the bays also. Thank you Regency.
After researching local brands, I decided on looking into Regency Floats. I was able to view a similar model to the one displayed at their Eden Park display. After many emails back and forth to Regency, and the amazing help from Katie, we settled on the brand. I was sent drawings, and all my needs were attended to prior to the float heading into production. Yes I was nervous, especially not seeing my float until it arrived in Vic. All I can say is that it has exceeded expectations. The finishes are so detailed and well thought out. It is exactly the colours we sent them. In fact so much so you cannot tell which one was out AI version. It towed home beautifully, and we cannot wait to get our horses out and about.

I was very disappointed when I collected my float from Regency and discovered that it had features I had not ordered and was significantly heavier than the float specified on my sales documentation.
When the float was being hooked up for the first time at the factory, I specifically explained that my vehicle had a limited towing capacity. The response at the time was somewhat sarcastic, with the suggestion that I should get another car.
Due to a number of circumstances, my new Regency float remained unused in my barn for the best part of 12 months before I eventually hooked it up in preparation for use. Even empty, it felt noticeably heavy in my driveway.
That evening, I checked the compliance plate against the sales specification sheet I had been provided when making my purchase decision. The float I ordered was a 2HSL Warmblood with a TARE of 1,298 kg. The float I actually took delivery of was a 2HSL-LUX with a TARE of 1,600 kg — a difference of 302 kg.
I raised this discrepancy with Regency. I was told that the 1,600 kg weight was the weight of the float I had ordered. When I questioned the additional fit-out and features that I had not ordered, I was told that I had received a number of upgrades.
The issue for me is not whether these upgrades were intended to be beneficial. I ordered a float that was within the towing capacity of my vehicle. What I received is approximately 300 kg heavier and, as a result, I cannot use it for the purpose for which I purchased it.
I have spent a number of weeks trying to resolve this matter amicably and directly with Regency. Unfortunately, my attempts to reach a satisfactory resolution have not been successful, and communication has effectively stopped.
I am posting this review because I believe customers should receive the product they ordered, particularly where the weight of that product is critical to whether it can legally and safely be towed by their vehicle.
I would still welcome the opportunity for Regency to engage with me and resolve this matter fairly.

To clarify, you took delivery of this float two years ago, and have registered it twice. The tare weight of 1600kg is clearly stated in the compliance plate, the NSW Blue Slip and the Registration document. There were definitely no sarcastic comments at all. Two years after taking delivery of the float you contacted us on 3/8/26, we replied 4/8, then 18/8 and 19/8, this is not a lack of communucation. The tare weight of 1600kg is not heavy for a WB float with additions, we are always willing to help, but you have had the float for two years now.

I’ve had my Regency horse float for a few years now and it has been amazing. It has been extensively used and stored outside without a cover, yet it has weathered well and still looks great.
My horse has always travelled comfortably in the float and has never had any issues with it compared to other floats.
When I first saw an image of the float on the Regency website, I knew straight away that it was the one I wanted. They made mine in the exact colour I asked for, and I couldn’t have been happier with how it turned out.
I’ve have seen the improvements and modifications Regency has made to the newer models over the years. When the time comes for me to upgrade, I’ll definitely be buying another Regency float in the same colour.
The customer service has also been outstanding. Whenever I’ve needed replacement parts, Regency has provided and sent them to me.
I would happily recommend Regency Floats to anyone looking.
We have recently purchased our Regency Full camper float and just want to say how happy we are with it. The staff at Regency we so easy to work with. We bought the float sight unseen as a demo model and it was everything we hoped for and more. We've already had our first weekend away and found it so comfortable. The storage is particularly great with room for everything, including the Hobby Horse jumps. The awning was simple to use and makes a huge difference to camping, providing shelter & a nice place to sit at night. Overall the quality is great. So glad we made this choice. Thanks Regency!

I've purchased a few imported floats over the years due to either upsizing or downsizing and Firstly i've never experienced customer service from my first phone enquiry right through to picking up my float, like this one which is such a pleasant surprise! The float itself is incredible, it has blown my expectations out the window, they have thought of every detail, the quality feels lux and the layout is perfect, making use of every bit of space, you could live it in! If you are considering buying new - do not look anywhere else, I honestly could not recommend more highly!!! Thanks so much Regency - love my new float so much :)
