As soon as you walk in the aromas of the African spices hit your nose n boy is it incredible! Ingrid was our lovely server. She recommended the BASIL INSTINCT: which was the best drink I’ve had all year. For appetizer, my bestie (who previously visited) recommended the KITFO SAMBUSA which literally tasted like ground beef but somehow it wasn’t lol. How do they do that? By far, the best dish was my bestie’s dish: SHASHAMANE BOWL. It was so good that I ordered a plate to go. This is the way vegetables are supposed to taste like! I promise you that you won’t miss the meat with this one! Jam packed with flava! Owner of Ras please consider opening a location in westchester. 🙏🏼 We need more vegan options over here. ❤️ Thanks guys! Until next time.
From Texas my friend who lives here loved it and recommended so we came. It was my first time eating Ethiopian food and it did not disappoint. The spices, the flavor, the temperature 10000/10000 i wanted to savor every bite. The portions were decent i took half home. That vegan Mac n cheese is a dream truly! Our server was patient. Very intimate beautiful atmosphere. That drink was immature!! I was tipsy off one which I loved!!!! Not water down and the taste and name was soooo cuteeeee
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ras Plant Based – aka the Purveyors of Vibes 🌈
Ras Plant Based is one of those spots that keeps pulling you back in. I’ve been here multiple times: both dining in and ordering takeout, and it never disappoints. The food is vibrant, fresh, and full of flavor. The injera is soft and perfect, the lentils and veggies are seasoned beautifully, and every dish feels made with real care and authentically Ethiopian.
The vibe inside is warm and inviting, with staff who are always kind and genuinely happy to help you navigate the menu. Whether you’re vegan or just exploring, it’s an easy place to feel at home.
And here’s the pro tip: pickup is quick. If you’re hungry and need something delicious right away, this is your cheat code. Their orders almost always come out faster than the estimated time.
It’s the kind of spot that becomes part of your weekly rhythm: reliable, flavorful, and always there when you need a little Ethiopian comfort from the neighborhood.
