Just used Rapid sewer for an emergency back up and they were excellent. Responce was RAPID and Chris was professional and did the job fast. Highly recommend this company. They also provide maintence .
Never had an issue with Rapid, until today. I don't blame the guy they sent, he got the job done.
I won't call them ever again though, their markup on $20 worth of brass drain pipe makes their labor rate and service call price look like slave wages. I have no problem with labor and service call, but I won't ever make the mistake of calling them again.
I just ordered an electric snake for less than $500, a bargain compared to what I paid today
In the past month, one individual that works for this company has displayed the most ERRATIC, INSANE behaviors. A few weeks ago, someone that works for this company, an older white man, around the New Dorp area FOLLOWED ME HOME due to his road rage for something I did not do. Yes, he literally followed me home, and screamed his head off at me and cursed at me to the point where his whole head was red. I was scared to exit my vehicle in front of my own home.
Today, the same individual, again in the New Dorp area, displays road rage towards me AGAIN. He opens his window and screams all sorts of profanity at me next to a SCHOOL with young kids around, mind you. I’m in complete disbelief. Your workers are the face of your company and this makes your company look like absolute garbage. What kind of people are you hiring here? Complete unprofessional and psychopathic.

I can’t speak to the experiences of others mentioned here, but my personal experience with this company has been outstanding. I had water in my basement and initially thought it was caused by the washing machine. However, I realized the issue occurred after I took a shower. I called a reputable company, and their technician claimed the leak was coming from the kitchen. I disagreed, as I had just moved back home and wasn’t using the kitchen, relying on takeout every night.
I reached out to a plumber recommended to me, but he was fully booked until late December. When I asked him for another recommendation, he suggested Rapid, describing them as a trustworthy company that wouldn’t take advantage of me. That turned out to be the best advice.
Tommy was the first technician to arrive. He took the time to listen to my concerns and even provided tabs that turn yellow to confirm if the leak originated upstairs. He determined it was a drain pipe issue and informed me that a team would come within a day or two to cut into the wall and investigate further.
A couple of days later, Chris and his apprentice arrived. They made a few small holes in the wall, which was necessary, and discovered the stack pipe was cracked. Given that the house is around 42 years old with original cast iron plumbing, this made sense. The following day, Mike came out to replace the pipe. While he was there, I also had him fix two leaky spigots.
My overall experience with this team was excellent—no issues whatsoever. Regarding timing, they provide a window for their arrival, but it’s important to understand that delays can happen when they get busy. Despite this, their professionalism and quality of work have made me a lifelong customer.

Absolutely the worst company. My landlord called them for a clogged drain and the technician got the snake stuck in my drain, and instead of trying to get the snake out, they cut it and left.. they told us they were coming back to retrieve it and they never called us back, didn’t show up, and didn’t clean up the mess they started. I would never recommend this company to anybody as they are unprofessional and couldn’t even complete a simple job. Now i am left with no shower and with a bigger problem than what was started. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had dealing With people who are supposed to know what they are doing. I had two men here, two different days trying to find a leak Coming from my floor and one of them basically said well I’m not gonna check all your appliances after we told him we had waterline in The refrigerator. He never checked it and sure enough it took two women who are disabled to figure it out Stay far away from this company they are the worst. Also, they tell you they’ll be there by two and it’s 7 o’clock and you’re still waiting. Also, their workers are so rude. They slam your doors don’t make eye contact And can barely speak to you
Very quick response to a bad situation. The tech was extremely polite and friendly and definitely knew what he was doing. The price was also very reasonable. I’m very grateful for businesses like one this and I highly recommend them.
