I've been looking for a large scale 3-D printer for a work project. I work at a zoo and botanical garden, so I'm no expert in the field of 3-D printing. Be careful working with these guys, at least on the 3D printing side of the shop. Really bad communicators and don't seem to be familiar with typical design process.

The only reason I'm giving them a two star rating is because there are a few good eggs in the company. Management is the problem. We act into an agreement for them to make 20+ thousand dollars in parts for us. They packed and Shipped the parts to our distributor and they were destroyed. FedEx had some liability in the claim, and some stuff was crated incorrectly. There was nothing from the delivery that could be salvaged. We tried to work with management multiple times and they were not willing to engage us and anything less than them being paid in full. This company may be good at making small orders, but I would not use them for thermal forming anything. A very close attention to their invoice must be your first priority. They claim the minute something is on their loading dock whether or not they packaged it. It's your problem under a policy called EX-Works, we had a final call with the Supplier and ask a very simple question "what did we do wrong in this process"they said that we accepted the order. note that none of the items in these pictures can be sold as new

Hi Steve,
I’m sorry to hear these concerns. We put substantial care into packaging your order, including building a custom crate and clearly marking it “Do Not Stack” measures you yourself described as excessive at the time of shipment. Based on our conversations, you acknowledged the packaging was done properly.
It’s frustrating to now see that narrative reversed publicly. In 15 years, we’ve always taken responsibility when packaging was our fault. This wasn’t one of those times. The damage occurred because FedEx stacked thousands of pounds on top; no crate would have prevented that.
We filed the claim for you and passed along the full reimbursement. You would have been made whole except for your early cancellation of a one-year contract after instructing us to purchase tens of thousands of dollars in plastic. You admitted you were taking your business to another vendor who was charging you less. We incurred huge restocking fees and absorbed $1,500 in additional losses when we released your tooling and settled the matter in good faith.
We did our best to be fair in a tough situation.

Excellent quality and service - in particular for a hard-to-find, soft 3d printed material. The prices were very reasonable and are in line with the cheapest options which I thoroughly researched. Especially if you don't want to work with international 3d printers / international shipment delays. They were able to quickly expedite my order and what they delivered exceeded my expectations in quality. I want to highlight the service that Andrew LaPlant gave us, quick responses, quick quote, made the expedited service experience quite easy. I would highly recommend them for any 3d print job based on what they delivered and I have a background in 3d printing, using many 3d print providers, and even doing the 3d printing myself, I would rather have these guys do when needed from now on. RapidMade was able to help me out with a unique situation. A manufacturer messed up the prep in 175 exterior doors and RapidMade was able to design and manufacture a part to correct the prep along with painting the parts to match all the different paint colors.
